Today we join Two SPOLED CATS
Here is our inspiration
We are thankful for the low prices we pay for Regular
gasoline; however, we have no where to go!!
Things that make me smile
Rick the owner of Seaboard Café has such fun critters sitting around the café and hanging from the walls.
Gail loves your soulful poem. When she saw that picture her first thought was "that's Lake Louise in the Canadian Rockies, isn't it" and remembered (less soulfully) a VERY cold swim!
ReplyDeletethat's a sweet poem... we enjoyed it soooo much. our gas prices will go to heaven next year while we all go to hell with the eu ;o(...

ReplyDeleteStunning view - appropriate poem... YAM xx
Lovely poem. Pretty flowers on the tables.
ReplyDeleteThat's a wonderful poem for the photo - just reading the words is calming and it's the EXACT "flavor" of the photo. BRAVO! We love that you have such a great spot as the Seaboard Cafe to visit - trains and yummy food - great combo!
ReplyDeleteHugs, Teddy (and Mom)
Love your poem and the beautiful serene picture. The floral centerpieces are so pretty!
ReplyDeleteYou did a good job writing a poem for the picture.
ReplyDeleteNow that I'm retired and don't drive 100 miles a day, it would go down :)
Looks like a neat place to eat.
What a lovely post: top to bottom and in-between, words and pictures all.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful poem. We're all spending less for gas these days with no place to go. Those are fun decorations in that cafe.
ReplyDeleteOh my what a wonderful place to escape to. That's beautiful.
ReplyDeleteLove the table centerpieces and the decorations.
Wow on the cheap gas. Gas is high here, but we live in California and everything is high.
Have a fabulous Thankful Thursday, my friend. Big hug. ♥
Your poem is beautiful for this picture. I like to hear and see anything about Seaboard, it makes me smile!
ReplyDeleteperfect thoughts to go with that photo... beautiful. just the name Seaboard flips me back in time to the 40's and 50's when I rode the Easter Seaboard train. our gas is 2.19, with costo and Walmart a little less at 1.97. does the Seaboard Cafe have anything to do with trains?
ReplyDeletePurrfect poem today! I just love that cafe, what a wonderful little find.
ReplyDeleteThat was a really good poem and that's so true about the gasoline prices! That little waiter dude is so funny. Thanks for joining our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful poem C!!
ReplyDeleteAlways love seeing your lunch spot and am very jealous of your gas prices...we are paying almost a full TWO DOLLARS more per gallon! The beauty of California...
Great poem. Those are very low prices, I think my town is $2.09. XO
ReplyDeleteLove how you worked "in her mind's eye" into your poem, LOL! Our gas prices are that and lower. And so what? Like you said, and there's nowhere to go. Even our change oil light has only come on once since March, and that was mostly from the time leading up to March.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your beautiful poem
