Each evening at about 5:55 pm WRAL-TV news has a special segment about things going on around the area.
Last week's was about a project to raise money for Charity event.
This gentleman is painting horse statues that he will donated to the cause
I like each one showcased you know I love bright and happy colors.
The mom and colt brings and Awww to my lips
The beautiful project inspired me to look for some Equine Sparks
that is super beautiful!!! and horses are friends for life oh yes!!!! ...we love the horse sparks, the only one I remember is : hi yo silver away, if that counts LOL ;O)))

we watched a movie last week on Prime, it is called Useless. it was a story of a horse that was said to be useless. we loved it. i like the feathers, but they are 2nd place to the green one in the top right corner. horses make me almost as happy as dogs.

ReplyDeleteThose are so pretty! Because my town's motto is "A Place in Your Heart," we have heart statues that different groups pay to paint instead of horsies. Momma says way back at the dawn of time, Chicago had cow statutes and then living room furniture!

ReplyDeleteSome of the towns around us have had events that have large dog, fish, or cat statues. Local artists decorate them, then they are auctioned off to raise money.

We love those statutes. In our neck of the woods we have painted moose statues in the town next to us!

Oh, those horsies are FABulous!!!! We gots painted Hearts around downtown right nows for Valentine's Day and they are cool, butts horsies are next level! 💖

ReplyDeleteThose are so pretty! Some years ago, our area did that fundraiser with the specially painted horse statues like that. I imagine there are still lots of them around, but the only one I see regularly now is the one in front of the local Penny Saver office on my way to work.
