Happy Tuesday and Wacky Nat'l Pizza day

Hosted by Comedy Plus

Cute pups taking their owners shopping...pardon blurr

Seeing pups in stores makes me happy.  Back when we were owned by
Toto the mighty mini Dachshund pups were not allowed to go out and about
like this.

All photos taken at Logan's Garden Center about  2 weeks ago.
We have not eaten at Seaboard since I took these photos...it has either been
raining or cold.

In honor of Nat'l Pizza day I will offer a repost of our first homemade pizza from
earlier this month.

Last week we made home pizza, but we used Pillsbury Pizza crust.
It was a fun activity and got us out of our 'box'!
Left top ready to eat, right all toppings on about to cook
While my husband sliced and diced onions, g. peppers and mushrooms
 (bottom left)
I was making a very simple an delicious pizza sauce, he is spreading
it bottom middle pepperonis added and grated cheese.

  3. We have only eaten out once in nearly a year. That was when lock down was eased in the summer and we had lunch outdoors at a garden centre.

right, I know what I want for tea tonight... even though it's not even lunchtime yet! The idea of going out to eat is very foreign to me now - not done in almost exactly a year! YAM xx

  6. I'd love your sauce recipe! We make at home pizza with Mama Mary's thin crust or original. I have been using Ragu Pizza Quick sauce but it seems to have gotten so salty. Your pizza looks fabulous! Hope you get to go to Seaboard this Saturday... love to hear what you get to eat :)

  7. lol...I couldn't take Country even if they allowed it. She didn't like people and would get this look that said "I'm gonna bite you". And, yes....she would try. Don't know how many times I would tell people don't try and pet her. She never connected...but wasn't for a lack of wanting to.

  8. this will shock all of you, I don't like pets in stores. the pet store is ok, but other stores I say no. there are many people who do not like dogs or cats and also are allergic to them or afraid of them. Stores are for humans, eating outside at tables is ok, i also prefer people leave their little humans home, or gag them or tie them in a basket

  10. That's a cute picture of the pup peeking at you from the owner's arms. We are cracking up over the last part of Sandra's comment and we agree about leaving the little humans home and gagging them. BOL!

  12. Momma hasn't taken me because she says I'm more timid (I say I'm just cautious of potential serial killers), but she used to take Casey to places like Lowe's and Home Depot all the time because he loved the attention!

  13. We have a nearby open-air shopping mall, that caters to folks walking their dogs.
It's always fun to see the doggos!

  14. I can remember taking Angel Little Bit to the pet store. She loved to go and would pick out a toy every single time.

Oh the pizza. We make our own too. I do the red pepper flakes in the sauce and it's gives it a kick. We have the same toppings as you. So delicious.

Thank you for joining the Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.

Have a fabulous Happy Tuesday. Big hug, honey. ♥

  19. Seems like a lot of smaller businesses are allowing pets. The dad guy has a garden center and he loves when people bring their dogs in.

  20. Shopping would be more fun if dog were allowed everywhere.

  21. We think dogs should be allowed everywhere, like in France (except where signs are on stores saying no dogs, phthh). It's species discrimination. Angel Lexi even got to go in a restaurant in Chattanooga when she was Toto! XOX Xena and Lucy
