Road Less Traveled by Robert Frost

always pop in my mine's eye when we discover a new path on an old trail.
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.
Recently we took a trail less traveled recently and it made all the difference.
We find this simple yet fun play ground.
The sign 7 min walk to grocery store and pharmacy fails to mention the very long gradual hill..
This building in the middle is all glass
Boilermaker Blvd. is a sign by a driveway we see on our neighborhood walks
Well, at least it is downhill on da way back, right?

ReplyDeleteYeah. Hills. Rarely measured! Love that building and how it reflects the sky. YAM xx
That first photo brings back memories of the place I was born. We lived in an old part of Plymouth and everything was rented back then. We had a big garden and at the end was the wood and a play park. We moved when I was 4 but I remember sitting on the hedge watching the big kids play.
ReplyDeleteMiss Cecilia did you go down the slide? Tee Hee

Mom and dad are always looking for the trail less traveled, Cecilia. Stay warm, and have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteWe can't find a road less traveled right now... Hahaha! Overwhelmed by snowbirds! I am curious if you gave the slide a try, too!
ReplyDeletewe are in the same boat with Pix, no less traveled roads here either, but I do like to take them in life and when walking or driving. i can see the hill under the glass building..
ReplyDeleteMom gets stuck in a pattern....she should take the road less traveled sometimes too.

It's fun to explore new paths sometimes. Those neighbors must have gone to Purdue. Our Aunt is a Boilermaker too.
ReplyDeleteWe love the playground! They are always so much fun!
ReplyDeleteWonderful poetry, and I do my best to change my paths as I investigate this thing called LIFE!
ReplyDeleteDid you go down the slide at that little play ground?
ReplyDeleteYou sure have some pretty scenes in your neck of the woods!
ReplyDeleteWe love your walks. When the weather gets better Mom and Cinnamon have decided to take a different walk! 2 times a day they go around our very big block, seeing all the exciting things that you have found on yours, they have decided they would like to see more of our village! You are AWESOME! Have a splendoriferous Day!
ReplyDeleteWe hope you took a ride down that slide - it looks fun!!!
ReplyDeleteWoos - Lightning, Misty, and Timber

ReplyDeleteI love that poem. Great photos. XO
ReplyDeleteWe love that poem. We went to his house in New Hampshire. He had died years prior. It's not like he invited us.

That looks like a fun playground. Now Dad could not do that walk but if he was walking he would give it a go, as long as not too many packages
