A month or so ago I used this same apartment building on Symmetry Saturday.
Last week we took the trail that ran by the building and stairs. I think these photos are better.
Jackie, Mum to, Angels Eric and Flynn, sent me an email asking what that thing was that looked like the Michelin man. I had to look again. It was the lamp post below. And even up clos it looks like the Michelin Man Jackie!!
Cherry Tree blooms are pretty and pink on the tree
not on the sidewalk. They stick you your shoes. I wear New Balance 990 to walk.
These pink blooms get into every nook and cranny.
But they are so pretty!
ReplyDeleteI love the pink carpet.
ReplyDeleteMy Michelin Man!
ReplyDeleteThe pink pathway looks so pretty. A pity it sticks to your shoes though.
Dad says next time you go for a walk to carry a leaf blower with you. Don't worry, Cecilia, I whapped him a good one for you. Hope you have an awesome weekend!

ReplyDelete(MOL - what Cleo said!)... I LOVE that first image, Miss C - proper symmetry abounds in it!!! YAM xx
The petals are pretty on the sidewalk but we agree about the sticking to the soles of your shoes. Love the climbing and yellow blooming vine!
ReplyDeleteall flowering trees make a mess, but they are worth it. I often wonder why people throw flower petals down in front of the bride. i remember the steps but not the building because I noticed the stairs first in the other photos. it is impressive, both building and stairs. did you climb those stairs? ha ha on taking a leaf blower with you. good one Cleo.
ReplyDeleteMOL it does look like the Michelin Man!
ReplyDeleteThe Florida Furkids
Thanks for mentioning the sneaks you walk in! Lots of symmetry! Makes me a bit sad to see beautiful blooms hit the ground but I sure enjoy them while they are in full bloom.
ReplyDeleteThat is a cool building. Hey, the Michelin Man lives in our town, Michelin's North American Headquarters are here.
ReplyDeleteThose pink petals are so pretty but we can imagine how bad they would be to get stuck on you shoes. That yellow flower growing on the power pole is pretty but would make it difficult to climb the pole if they needed to fix anything.
ReplyDeleteWe might have had that problem of flower petals everywhere. But after some rainy days, followed by howling winds, most of the petals were scattered far and wide, or else beaten into the ground. (Crummy WNY weather!)
ReplyDeleteThe Michelin Man!!! Haha. They kind of do, right? You don't see many tops to light posts like that anymore.
ReplyDeleteNice shots. I would not want to do those steps. XO
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos!
ReplyDeleteDang, where is the Michelin Man??? I ooked and looked?
ReplyDeleteOh. Never mind.
ReplyDeleteI love the stairway. The pink petals make sidewalks look like a church aisle before a wedding.
ReplyDeleteThe stairway is pretty to look at but I'm glad I don't have to walk it.
ReplyDeleteTerrific Symmetry shots those stairs are so dramatic! And I LOVE the pink blossom snow!
ReplyDeleteThose cherry blossoms are a real mess. I would like to live in that last house!
