we love them too.. sadly we can not take a photo of this wonderful birds....I would love to get such a good one like yours....
ReplyDeleteIt looks windy the way that water has waves. Good captures.
ReplyDeletelol...yes, mostly you need a suit of armor to bathe a cat.
Super photos of the herons. Such fine looking birds from afar and close up.
ReplyDeleteBertie says thanks for reminding Gail why she has a dog not a cat!
Herons look so different with their necks tucked in. I most often see them flying over our neighbour's fish lake choosing their supper.
ReplyDeleteGreat heron photos!
ReplyDeleteLol with cats in jammies
Aren't those herons so beautiful and regal? Dad says he saw one on their way back from hiking at Dupont State Forest last weekend. Looks like you're gonna get some icy wet messes this weekend, Cecilia. Be careful out there!
ReplyDeleteWe are obsessed with our GBH Horatio and his buddy Checkers the white Great Egret. Nice photos, C!
ReplyDeleteToday is National Dress Up Your Pet Day!
Good Morning!

ReplyDeleteFabulous feathered fotos, Miss C... and a good giggle too! YAM xx
They really are interesting to see and watch. We haven't seen ours for a good while, maybe they moved up your way.
ReplyDeleteWe're always happy if we find a GBH at one of our nearby ponds. They are always so regal looking. It's hard enough to bath a dog let alone a cat!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful birds and it's a place I would just enjoy taking in. We bird watch here too.
ReplyDeleteLove the bathing of a cat. That's spot on and I've never tried to bathe a cat.

ReplyDeleteThe herons truly are magnificent birds!
ReplyDeleteHeroons crack me up- they want to be left alone and if they spot me taking their photo they squawk and fly away! Have a great day!
