Here is today's inspiration
In my mind's eye, I see the lady in the red top as the 'cause of the looks from the others
The life of the party
So she thinks, their faces tell a different story!
She finds it necessary to talk with her hands
Her mouth runs at top Mach speed.
In the center is her spot
The others want to tie her hands in a
KNOT.
The tale she is spinning is a repeat.
It gives two a headache and one is trying
of hold back a yawn.
You are so creative and we love your story! Thank you for the morning smiles☺
ReplyDeleteWonderfully creative poem indeed. Actually, this makes me think dad's the lady in red going on and on, explaining something in great depth the way he has a habit of doing, and mom and me are the other three wishing to God we could be somewhere else...
ReplyDeleteGreat poem! I think most of us know someone like that. A funny story is good but wears thin when you have heard it a dozen or more times.

ReplyDeleteLOL - I think you might be spot on with the interpretation of that image today!!! YAM xx
Good one!!
ReplyDeleteyour poem described exactly what I see in the photo. and your poem describes ME.. I am guilty and have tried to make myself more aware. the lady on bottom right says it all with her expression, she is beyond disgusted with the story that she is telling, the men look like OH no she is not telling this again
ReplyDeletehahaha, that's got to be Nancy. You know who I'm talking about.
ReplyDeleteWe think you've captured the essence of that picture perfectly in prose.
ReplyDeleteLove the poem. I've certainly come across the lady in the centre more than a few times in my life!
ReplyDeleteCheers, Gail.
Love your twist on the poem. Well done.
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous day, my friend. Big hug. ♥

ReplyDeletePERFECTION! Yep - this one had people all over the place with what was going on - but everyone did a fantastic job with it! Love yours and that lady in red really is asking for a table for one next time we think!!!!
