  3. Mom and dad went there only once when they lived in Chapel Hill. Dad says it's a wonderful place and they'll have to make a return visit if they get the hankerin' to get out of these mountains for a bit. Wonderful photos, Cecilia.

  4. We pass by someone who has a steel tree on our walks sometimes. It is really a cool looking tree, but it is probably pretty expensive too.

  7. That is a cool tree sculpture. It looks so real from a distance but when we clicked on it to make it bigger it was obvious that it was made of steel.

    1. Metal, according to National Weather Service experts, has nothing to do with attracting lightning.

      I guess it is just myth. I learned something today. Now I can go back to bed lol
