Can you believe I’m celebrating my 2nd Gotcha Day on April 29th?
I wish I could talk, so I could tell Mom & Dad where I came from, and how I ended up at The Hill. Mom prepared a video
The beginning of the video shows the first time Mom saw me. She’s a cat whisperer, and it was love at first sight, for us both❣️😻❤️
❤️ RockyDearest Ginger Nephew...you melted my heart from the first time I saw you too and OMCs you melted it again today Happpppppy 2nd Got'cha day which was the first best day of your furever life on the Hill
with Mom, Dad and your brothers, Kat and Pup, from another mother.
Lovingly Auntie HiC

Photo in very early March 2022. I was not 100% sure this was a live tree. It looked more like a art

Full of leaves. I don't think it is a going to have flowers
The leaves are quite delicate and lacy like a Japanese Maple.
Great to see the tree coming alive, and Happy 2nd Gotcha Day to dear Rocky!
ReplyDeleteCool progression of the tree. Rocky, happy B'day to you. I'm so glad you found your Mom, Dad, Kat and Pup.

What a beautiful tree! Happy Gotcha Day, Rocky. You chose the most perfect home!
ReplyDeleteHow cool is that time lapse photography?! Wonderful that the leaves are filling in nicely. Dad's boss has two Japanese Maples on either side of the front entrance that are showing their true selves lushly after looking a bit bare all winter. Have a fabulous weekend, Cecilia!
ReplyDeleteLots of things look really dead around here still because it is to cold and we haven't had much sun. It's fun to see seemingly dead things come to life.
ReplyDeleteHappy 2nd Gotcha day Sweet Rocky! you landed in the right place at the right time, with a cat whisperer to greet you. Your story is a true inspiration as is Pup and Kat... the tree is a beautiful tree now. i even liked it as winter art
ReplyDeleteA big Happy Gotcha Day to Rocky! That tree does look like a Japanese maple to us.
ReplyDeleteSomeone did a lovely job with presenting and caring for the tree. And I LOVED that video and hearing Rocky's mommy showing him love.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful story about Rocky. It made me smile. I can see it would be love at first sight.
ReplyDeleteOh the tree is beautiful.

ReplyDeleteHappy Gotcha Day. Time flies when you are with a good family
ReplyDeleteHappy Gotcha Rocky! As for the tree - it really is a beautiful trunk - like bonsai. We have a dwarf Japanese Maple in our front garden - looks a little like that but the leaves are dark rust colored. Anyway, it's a gorgeous tree.
