There is a driveway just to the right of this house. It leads to some homes
whose decks face Lead Mind Lake
This home has been slowly given very nice curb appeal from new owners
Lots of large shrubs removed from the lower windows. In fact I didn't know there was a basement. New porch entrance and rails
I'll be back on Monday Memorial Day
That looks like a nice house.
ReplyDeleteboth are beautiful homes, I would love to have a home facing a lake
ReplyDeleteI think I like your Saturday posts mist of all ... you find great examples of the prompt!!

ReplyDeleteI too like both, thought that second one looks as if it might have a decent view... YAM xx
Interesting that the previous owner blacked out the windows with big shrubs.....privacy issues? Looks nicer now and maybe these people USE the basement and the previous owners just used for storage so didn't "need" windows to be visible? Who knows.....everyone is different I guess!!!

So many nice houses around and about in your neighborhood!
ReplyDeleteThose are both nice looking houses. What a lovely neighborhood.
ReplyDeleteIt would be very nice to face Lead Mine Lake! Second house on its own little hill. Definitely symmetry on Saturday in this post!
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful to get light in their basement after all this time.
ReplyDeleteWe've seen a lot of updates in our neighborhood, too, over the last couple of years, both by long-timers and new owners.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad they are keeping it fixed up.
ReplyDeleteThat looks like a nice house. Enjoy your day off. XO
