I have often wondered why nearly all state buildings have the domes on top... I have never seen one in person, in any of the states I have lived in or visited. Our Florida State Capitol Building was on TV yesterday and I thought I have never seen that and it is 12 hour drive from us so never will. this is a beautiful building.

ReplyDeleteNice shot - I suspect the winter option was better for in summer, all those trees in leaf would leave only the door visible! YAM xx
Pretty. Kinda reminded me of Jackson's for a second.
ReplyDeleteWhat a majestic looking building.

ReplyDeleteVery nice.
ReplyDeleteThat is a lovely building I had to biggify because it looked like Pennywise the clown in the middle. Then I could see it was two wreaths!

ReplyDeleteGot to alert my boy in Charotte He "collects" courthouses that are classical in style.
ReplyDeleteI bet that building is just as stately inside too!
ReplyDeleteA mighty "handsome" building!
