One of several cranes working we can see from our lunch table at Seaboard
Due to all the construction around our former desired parking in the front
we now park in this back lot.
Last time we parked there a car was so close to the driver's door
(about 5"). My husband could not get in the car. I crawled from the passenger seat across to the drivers side.
in the back lot where there is lots of Symmetry.

ReplyDeleteI do wonder at some folks idea of accurate parking... and very much like that last shot of the all the bags on the lot and the big, big skies! YAM xx
you are right, lots of symmetry back there in the back lot and NO cars. good idea! those umbrellas are spectacular with the sunshining through them
ReplyDeleteSome people have no consideration when parking!
ReplyDeletei am continually astounded by people who only think about themselves with no thought about others at all. Seems to be the theme today! People in their big hulking SUVs who can't even manuever them. That parking situation was predictable as to who was driving that massive vehicle. Just totally rude. So, that is my rant for today. I enjoyed your symmetry and the yellow umbrellas are joyful!
ReplyDeleteI like the umbrellas! There were lots of poorly parked vehicles this past week, while I was out visiting Dad. Big, hulking trucks with those absurd tires....I had to suck in my gut and do my best to inch out sideways a couple of times, to get into Dad's car. LOL.
ReplyDeleteDuring the last several months there have been huge cranes and other construction vehicles all around our local mall. They tore down over half of the stores. And replaced them with a big medical center. I guess times are changing! Oh, and I hate it when people are careless about parking too. I haven’t had any problems like you've had, though.
ReplyDeleteWe're glad to hear there is an alternative parking place, so you don't get boxed in again. It's nice to see your beautiful blue skies after our week of smoke.
ReplyDeleteYou need one of those cars that backs up without you in it. :) XO
ReplyDeleteDon't you just hate it when peeps have no consideration for others. That is a lot of stacked bags!
ReplyDeleteThose big crane birds are everywhere these days!
ReplyDeleteConstruction is always a positive sign.
ReplyDeleteLove those yellow umbrellas.....we are amazed that people don't give a hoot about how they park. Often we see cars inches away from each other and wonder how they think their neighbors can get in their vehicles?! Glad you figured it out!!
ReplyDeleteHugs, Teddy and Mom too
Great symmetry photos ~ and awesome sky ~ Hugs to Angel Madi ~ Xo
ReplyDeleteWishing you good health, laughter and love in your days ~

Well, I guess you could have also gone back i and announced in a loud voice that whoever owned that car (with details) needs to move it so you can get in your car. Hmm, I like that. I think I'll do that if someone ever parks like that next to my drivers door. Hey, have a great week with only friendly parking!!
ReplyDeletePeople who park like that are fortunate that they escape unscratched etc as people try to get into their car. I have had the experience once. Had to do the same as you. Crawl across. Not as easy as it seems when you're reading it.
