Wordless Wednesday and FFF reminder

Thank you to our Hostess

Sandee at Comedy Plus

Biscuitville biscuits are wonderful but OMCs

HOLD THE SPAM for me.

Concerns about Spam's nutritional attributes have been raised due to the fact that it contains twice as much of the daily dietary recommendation of fat as it does of protein, and about the health effects of salt and preservatives

Pretty sure the 'health' news on the processed meat is a Very long way from new. My mum stopped serving us that stuff fifty years back. YAM xx

  4. I was raised on Spam, we were dirt poor, and it was cheap, I have had it chopped, fried, bakes with cloves like a ham and loved it as a child. Now I tried it once about a year ago, and it is way to salty and I did not enjoy it. Might be because of all the non healthy part. I am about to turn 80 and spam did not kill me yet. I ate if for about 50 years.. I love biscuits and they are as unhealthy as spam, but I still eat them now and then.

  5. Of course over my lifetime I've eaten spam off and on. Either as a child or even as an adult. But I don't actually think I'd put any in my mouth today.

  6. We used to eat Spam when I was growing up but I sure don't want any of it now!

  7. I have never eaten Spam but my Mom and Dad ate it. I didn't eat it when it was on the table and they didn't force me. Biscuits sound good with buttah or cream gravy!

  8. There is no SPAM eaten in this house, but our mom is drooling over the thought of good southern biscuits. BOL!

  9. I also ate SPAM growing up...and didn't dislike it. But like everyone else, I don't think I'd order it today.

  12. I had some about two years ago. Not bad actually. I had looked over the ingredients and I wasn't too alarmed at the time.

  14. I'm among those who never ate spam...maybe it was the original spam (not real). Hmmm, wonder if that's why those not real emails are called that...

  15. Some people love it, and as with all things with little or no nutritive value, it's more how often you consume it than anything else. I can't stand it, but are lots of commercially made cookies and sweets and candies that much better?
