 Dear Auntie HiC,

I was preparing for my scheduled 1:35 afternoon nap on May 2, when the windows shook from a thunderstorm!

I found the storm quite entertaining, as I share Mom’s fascination with meteorology. I particularly enjoyed the pea sized pieces of ice falling from the sky!

Despite their bravery, Kat and Rocky are terrified of storms and quickly took cover under the bed.

As the storm passed, I found myself bored, washed my paws, and slumber soon followed!
Enjoy the video! 😹

Hey friends, do you like thunderstorms? Every dog in Mom’s life has been terrified during bad weather, and she is extremely sympathetic.

❤️ Cali

Dearest Cali
Auntie HiC does not like Tstorms or lightning.  I would have been snuggled under the bed with Rocky and Kat.
Angel Madi would run to our half bath, wedge herself between the loo and the wall.
Lovingly Auntie HiC

I am not a fan of the boomeries, Cali... but I acknowledge that Nature needs them to help balance all the dry weather. It would be good if we could just get the hosing with all the flash and bang, but we can't have everything, eh?! Hugs and whiskeries, YAM-aunty xxx

  2. Mom is not a fan of thunder and lightning and Molly didn't like it either but I, Duke, am not afraid - not yet anyway and we hope it stays that way.

  3. Dear Rocky, we had a hail storm hit here the other evening when it was my 3-hour Lake time. I too ran down the hallway and hit until the noise stopped in the hail quit. Then Lynn was very thankful that I jumped back up on her legs and finished my nap.

  4. Mom said she never had a cat that cared about thunderstorms but most of the dogs started getting scared of them as they got older. Bailie is afraid.

  5. No I do not. I like gentle falling rain.

  6. You are brave, Cali. Eric loved to watch thunderstorms. He also watched fireworks over the other side of the river. Flynn and I hated thunderstorms and would hide under the duvet together.

  7. Don't like thunder and lightning. I would have been UTB with Kat and Rocky. Our Z Cat was terrified of thunderstorms and ran to her litter box and then under Jerry's recliner. We need rain and I think it's coming on Monday.

  8. We had hail like that the other day here. Gibbs isn't bothered by storms of any kind. I only had one dog who had issues and it wasn't until he was a senior dog that it started. I always knew when it was about to storm because he would get as close as he could and pant non stop.

  9. Wow, that was quite the storm! Cali, you were very brave. None of my angels was bothered by thunderstorms, but I would be freaking out. Lol.

  10. You are a brave girl, Cali. We don't mind the thunder much, but most of our predecessors didn't like it at all.

  17. Lulu the dog doesn’t like storms, either. I’m not a huge fan of them myself, but what are you going to do but just go through it?

Thank you for linking up with Feline Friday!

  19. Hey Cali, I don't get what all the fuss is about. It's just more noise, right? And sometimes someone outside turns on a light in heaven, too! That's so cool!! XOXOX Chia

  20. Cali, you are very brave. Neither of us likes thunderstorms or fireworks. Maybe you can teach us some calming techniques.
