Note from Mom: during the summer we have a sunblock shade that we use on the sky light to keep the sun from making it too hot upstairs.  As soon as fall arrives, the shade is raised and Madi is happy.  This was her first day in her sun puddle

  1. The sun can really be powerful in the summer. Growing up Mom's house had special sun shades too.

  5. I am sure that shade is a wonderful thing on the Skylight in the summertime. Never have lived with the skylight but would like to have one in the winter time to let a little more light into the house. Angel Madie 😇 had it all figured out for sprawling out underneath the direct heat.

  8. What a fun memory. We have those shades on the skylights in our bedroom. I hope our next home doesn't have any skylights in that room again.
