We thank our Hostess Sandee at
October 2015
Note from Mom: during the summer we have a sunblock shade that we use on the sky light to keep the sun from making it too hot upstairs. As soon as fall arrives, the shade is raised and Madi is happy. This was her first day in her sun puddle

aww happy cat day to the diva
ReplyDeleteThe sun can really be powerful in the summer. Growing up Mom's house had special sun shades too.
ReplyDeleteNothing like a good sun puddle to nap in
ReplyDeleteSunpuddles feel so good on cool Autumn days!
ReplyDeleteI do remember her love for that sunspot and how she followed where it went
ReplyDeleteI am sure that shade is a wonderful thing on the Skylight in the summertime. Never have lived with the skylight but would like to have one in the winter time to let a little more light into the house. Angel Madie 😇 had it all figured out for sprawling out underneath the direct heat.
ReplyDeleteSun shades are a great invention.
ReplyDeleteIt's all about our babies comfort. What a wonderful walk down memory lane.
ReplyDeleteThank you for joining the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Wordless Wednesday. Love and hugs to you and Kit and scritches to all the kitties. ♥

What a fun memory. We have those shades on the skylights in our bedroom. I hope our next home doesn't have any skylights in that room again.
ReplyDeleteAngel Madi had the right idea, Fall sun puddles re the best!!!
