Today is Poetic Thursday hosted by our pals Teddy and Angel Sammy at

This poem was Halloween Week 2017

This week's photo challenge

The life of a Squirrel

In the fall when the wind blows,
and the cold chills my toes
I scurry and hurry collecting nuts
hiding them
from
This rough and tough
buffed up  bully rodent.
Ned the Nutcracker
He has toned biceps
and a bad attitude.
As luck would have it,
he is too buff
to find where
I hide my stuff.

  6. I like your thankful words. That picture of a squirrel was downright scary and I'm glad none of mine actually look like that creature. Good poem. Happy Thursday
