Mr. Red Bird... St. Louis, MO Cardinal baseball team! A very special view of your Cardinals. We have Mom and Pop Cardinal diving into the pepper vines in the preserve. They definitely have babies. The Brown-headed Cowbirds that parasitize their nests have moved on, thankfully. I hear them every morning... "Cheer bird, cheer bird!" So nice to see them at your feeders.
Trying to remember (w/o asking google), aren't they the Virginia state bird? Of course, loved by all for their brilliant coloring ... tho the mama's not so pretty ...
Please leave a meow or bark for Angel Madi...her assistant (aka Mom) will respond in a timely fashion. =^..^= Life is short, spend it with those who make you laugh!! “Worry never robs tomorrow of its sorrow, it only saps today of its joy.” (Leo F. Buscaglia) TONS OF HUGS
