Bags, boxes, shoes WooHoo

I think most everyone knows my peeps
take a power walk every morning.
Recently they started noticing their shoes had lost
their bounce and tread. So shoe shopping they
went.  OMCs/OMDs they came home with
a huge bag with two boxes in it.
Needless to say this Box/Bag Diva was
intrigued. I jumped up and down from the
bedside table trying to figure out the best angle for  jumping in the bag.

There was a lot of math involved too.

Notice my quick bag to box transfer...
then box to box transfer
Oh my cats.....
Of course Mom was documenting everything so
all of a sudden I lost interest in the shoes....
Mom says sometimes I have the attention span of a gnat!!
Mom's new shoes are almost the exact color of my furs
and they are trimmed in hot pink...mom likes bright colors
FYI: Dad's shoes are black with black soles and black laces!!
The style shoe mom likes does not come
in
R E D
After all that activity,  this kitty needed a nap
MOL once again Mom missed my leap...
but she is very good at landings!!
THE END

Monday Madi-ness

Every single day in the late afternoon
I sit here (im)patiently
giving mom the stinky eye watching mom to
make sure she doesn't forget to feed me!!
She always asks, 'have I ever forgotten to feed you?'  My reply is, 'you're older than dirt nothing is guaranteed!!'

As you can see....she can see me...'cause she
has that flashy beast working overtime.

After a while I let out a pitiful roar  meow
translation: feed me woman
One would think she'd get off her
tush and see to the business of feeding me, but nope she keeps snapping.

I have one word

LETTER TO OUR GIRL

Dear Madi(son) D. Cat
It is I, mom, aka the old gray mare, your assistant,
writing a letter to you from your peeps.

On May 11, 2002, little did we know life as we knew it would be
changed by a 2 month old itty bitty kitty with the heart of a lioness and vocal cords of an opera star.  We tried to follow
all the suggestions for introducing a new kitty to her home.
1. Confine to one room for the first few hours
Nope you weren't having that as soon as you were out of your carrier your quick as lightning legs took you out of the room and down the stairs.  From that moment
the house was yours and we were your staff.

During your first month here you continued to take charge finding
new and more exciting places to explore.  Your Dad and I realized we had our hands full with a furry ball of kitten...often we said SHE is nothing at all like our first cat.  You tried things
in your first month here that Milky-Way never tried in 14.5 years.
"The mathematical probability of a common cat doing exactly as it pleases is the one scientific absolute in the world!"
Lynn M. Osband
You grew quickly during your first year and our love for you grew quicker.

Dad and I learned to laugh out loud with you and at you
and all your craziness

You are Queen of Comfort and Sun Puddles

Thanks to your antics,I decided to start blogging in 2009...we have had the best time, met the nicest folks and OH little girl you have done so many amazing things.  Who would have thought a Feline Diva could be Mayor of Blogville...surely not me.
Your love of boxes became known all over Blogville.
Never, ever has there been a box too small, too large, too full,
 too scary.
Oh what fun we had at your Going away Box Bash.

Madi, we  love you from the tip of your ears

to your mesmerizing green eyes, and adorable pink freckled nose

to the last hair on the tip of your tail

Madi, thank you for keeping us young, teaching us how to laugh at ourselves and most of all not to take anything too seriously.
When in doubt, sleep it out.
by Mom
Love, huggles (snuggles and hugs) to
you from your Mom and Dad.

Friday Funny

Mom bought some new socks....
from Clark's (on sale).  Did you know
their socks have a life time guarantee?

She thought it would be funny to put the label on my furs....
Once I was wearing superior softness label, which she says is a true statement about my furs. Evidently now my furs are made of
rayon from bamboo

All is have to say is Mom you better sleep with one eye open!!
