She says she needs no assist

As she unloads the groceries

I check each shelf

to assure myself 

she was listening.

However, each week I'm forced to say

The squirrel population has quadrupled here this spring. Not only are they eating Mom's flowers, they’ve also started chewing on our new roof! 🙀

OH MY CATS WHAT THE HECK CHEWING ON YOUR ROOF THAT IS A FIRST.

I THINK THE SPRING 2025 TREE RATS MIGHT HAVE BEEN DROPPED OFF FROM AN ALIEN SHIP.  NEVER HEARD OF THAT BEFORE.!!

Dad got out the live catch cage, captured & relocated 20 squirrels in 5 days!

No squirrels were harmed in the process. If any of our friends would like a couple squirrels we will gladly relocate to your neck of the woods! 😹

A friend told Mom to sprinkle cinnamon at the base of the plant to deter the varmints, & so far it’s working. 

Dad bought  Mom a new mandevilla, 

but it’s not going outside until the squirrels are more respectful! 😹

I’m on guard, and ever vigilant.

Hidey Ho my dear nephews and niece..

The squirrels we have this year are highly educated...I think one has a PhD in Physics........but he didn't realize I worked in Physics for 25 years, I know all the tricks of the trade.

 Dear Auntie HiC, 

Several weeks ago, the Peeps covered the porch furniture to prevent Devil’s Evil Yellow Dust (pollen) from coating it. Bummer! 

We missed being able to smell fresh air.

We convinced them it was time to start enjoying the porch before it gets too hot & humid. 

We stayed out of the way while they got everything in place. 

We’re also needed for squirrel patrol. 

Mom’s been using HBO words!
