My Grocery list
by Angel Madi
May 29, 2025
Each week I give Mom my grocery list
She says she needs no assist
As she unloads the groceries
I check each shelf
to assure myself
she was listening.
However, each week I'm forced to say
Mom where is the
BEEF
ooh the diva... well done to write a list ... we do that too but the mama furgets it always on the table..
ReplyDeleteAwwww, sweet Madi.

ReplyDeleteMOL.... good one!!! YAM xx
Fun photos and poem! Angel Madi knew what she wanted.
ReplyDeleteYou look so small by mighty checking out the fridge shelves, Madi!
ReplyDeleteThis is too funny. It reminds me of a cat I used to have. One time I went to the refrigerator to grab a can of coke. I got my drink and went to watch tv. Maybe an hour or so later I went back to the refrigerator for something else. When I opened the door there was the cat sitting on the shelf. He had occupied his time in there by eating a cheesecake I had made earlier in the day. Needless to say, after that, I always checked the refrigerator before closing the door.
ReplyDelete😲😆
DeletePurrfect poem furom a purrfect kitty Madi! I only get help unloading the bags for inspection. When Precious finds nothing to sink her teeth into then she just goes for a nap on the bags if it is just the 2 of us. I let her keep them on the floor as long as she wants. The man of the house thinks that's silly, lol. It is!
ReplyDeleteOoh, Madi, weren't you the little imp! 😸
ReplyDeleteI'm surprised I never found Nicki in the fridge, heaven knows he got into everything else!
Couldn't be a more PurrFect poem or pictures! Funny but I remember a once upon a time blog called CAT IN THE FRIDGE ... no recall if her cat really did that or not though.
ReplyDeleteWe thought of Angel Madi when we saw that first picture too. That's a perfect poem for all the pictures.
ReplyDeleteAngel Madi was the best snoopervisor in Blogville!

HAHAHA! love seeing Madi's little back leggies all up in the fridge♥ All adorable looking back at you, Cecilia. Cutest helper ever and a great poem for Madi's perspective of shopping and loading the fridge.
ReplyDeleteShe, Madi, looks adorable. If I had seen any of mine doing that, I would have gone on and wasted the refrigeration for a spell while they enjoyed their tour.
ReplyDeleteAngel Madi is adorable and what a delightful post ~ hugs,

ReplyDeleteShe was smart enough to know where the groceries come from and that's a fun poem.
ReplyDeleteWell we would never have expected to see dear, sweet, innocent little Angel Madi being a refrigerator pirate! I guess some mysteries behind closed doors are just plain too hard to ignore by ALL of us huh??!!! Great photos/poem!
