My goodness Madi, what is that squirrel doing on YOUR deck? We suspect he is looking for places to bury nuts. Our plants are always filled with nuts in the spring.

I have heard that ghost story before. I lived in GA but spent a lot of time in NC and that's probably where I heard the story. That would have been a very scary encounter. Have you been back since then? The SE does seem to have a good supply of ghostly tales.
