It was REALLY cold on Sunday, February 12th.
I'm sitting on my perch and I hear Knock, knock
I politely asked, Who is there? To which I received
no reply so.......
I decided I best check to see if one of my peeps was locked outside. After all, it was nearing din-din time.
You'll never believe who was knock, knock, knocking
OMC it was Mr. Whitebreasted Nuthatch
standing outside on my window sill knocking on my window
I think he wanted to get in to warm his tootsies
I introduced myself as the resident Diva Cat. I told him he looked very tasty cute; however, I thought maybe his GPS sent him to the wrong window.
Oh, definitely his GPS was set wrong ... I don't think he wanted to meet up with you Madi!
ReplyDeleteMr. Nuthatch is a cute little fellow. He definitely was misguided though. That would haf probably drive Princeton right through the window! Purrs and headbumps, Prancer.
ReplyDeleteSo darn cutie!!!
ReplyDeleteLove Hailey
Awww, what a cute birdie, perhaps he wanted to have a go on your tree. Its definitely warmer than the one outside :)xx
ReplyDeleteCool kitty tree! And we likes that bird!! Hmmmm! GPS!! Ha! Ha!
ReplyDeleteDat must be a stoopid bird to be knockin' on a kittehs window. I don't like birds, they poop on me when I is outside....BAH!
ReplyDeleteI gotts gets me one of them perchs.
Puddles
So cute! Poor little thing was probably so in awe of your beauty he forgot you'd like him for a snack!
ReplyDeleteThat muct be one coo coo bird coming to your house! Sure hope you skeered him away for good!
ReplyDeleteLovies, Miss Mindy
We bethe read your message loud and clear and reset his destination on his GPS:)
ReplyDeleteWe hope if we came knock, knock, knocking, you would let us in or come out to play.
Woos - Phantom, Thunder, Ciara, and Lightning
I think he was teasing you, Madi!
ReplyDeleteLOL this is not the correct stop, please make legal u-turn when it is safe to o so!
ReplyDeleteYou were very polite to him. I get a little too enthusiastic when I see birdies, and they go flying off before I get close enough for conversation.
ReplyDeleteMr. Nuthatch better be careful....Madi I think you would like to warm him up in your mouth!!!
ReplyDeleteToo many feathers Madi, he wouldn't taste as good as fancy feast anyway!
ReplyDeleteBirdies are so much fun to watch....not eat....just watch....
ReplyDeleteI like to take pictures of birds, mainly eagles.
ReplyDeleteYou couldn't eat an eagle Madi.
The eagle might be able to eat you though.
BK
Nice and WARM in your tummy!
ReplyDeleteMadi,
ReplyDeleteDon't you know the Great Backyard Bird Count is coming this weekend? He probably wanted to be counted. Perhaps you should sit by the window to scare, um, I mean count them!
Stevie @ ruffledfeathersandspilledmilk.com
That was very polite of you to let him know he had the wrong house. It was also Most Kind of you not to invite him to...er...supper. Heehee!

It looks like that silly bird was inviting himself to dinner with you. He was very lucky you were polite enough to tell him he had gone the wrong way.
ReplyDeleteUH OH!!! HE'S BACKKKKKKK!!!
ReplyDeleteVery cute pictures of Madi investigating, but I must say those are darling
"up close and personal" photos of the Nuthatch!!
I hope he doesn't dull his beak trying to peck on the cement window frames!!LOL
Too bad Mr. Nuthatch didn't come in the window, Madi. You could of had some fun!!
ReplyDeleteWe Diva's have to be discriminating about who we choose to
ReplyDeleteallow into our inner sanctum. Way to go, Madi!!
Poor little misguided bird. Little did he know he was knocking on the window of the number one diva cat in all the world.
