Monday Madi-ness

Every single day in the late afternoon
I sit here (im)patiently
giving mom the stinky eye watching mom to
make sure she doesn't forget to feed me!!
She always asks, 'have I ever forgotten to feed you?'  My reply is, 'you're older than dirt nothing is guaranteed!!'

As you can see....she can see me...'cause she
has that flashy beast working overtime.

After a while I let out a pitiful roar  meow
translation: feed me woman
One would think she'd get off her
tush and see to the business of feeding me, but nope she keeps snapping.

I have one word

  5. I barked and barked yesterday as they left a cooked chicken out and I wanted some. Too right it worked. You go to take matters into your own paw some days. Have a marvellous Monday.

  8. At our house, Madi, very loud and very constant meows works to get our Mom off her duff and pass out the food. But we do demand many many times a day, so your Mom has it made with only one kitty staring at her. You all have a great Monday.

  13. you might need lessons from Baby and Jake on how to get food. they don't wait patiently or roar, they come to where ever i am and get right in my face.. and stare until i get up. Jake knocks my hand off the mouse and Baby pushes on my knee with her head. you might try both of these.

  18. Madi we even have to go to her and get right in front of her and REMIND her we are starving and need to be fed. She is hopeless sometimes. WE keep trying to make her move faster!

  19. Our mom and dad have racked in so many demerits for not feeding on time. We understand your plight, Madi!

  20. Yeah, even this human knows that qualifies for demerits. Madi, Nicki and Derry have me so well trained that the first thing I do when I get up each morning (around 4AM, I'd like to add, every single day of the year) is feed them. Same thing when I get home.

So feel free to teleport over if you're ever starving. No worries about lack of food at our house!

And yes, I do know who is in charge at our home and it's sure not me. :-D

  21. Oh Madi...I know how you feel!!! You should try what I do...I give my Mama "the butt". You knock her foot around with your tushy while she is sitting there making you wait for your food!! Don't be afraid to yell at her while you do it!!

    Growlies,

  22. Uhoh.....demerits.....that's even worse than the back of respect or the painful laser eye torture......but you need to do what you must do in order to teach her a lesson!

    Hugs, Sammy

  23. How dare she keep taking photos when you are clearly starving.

  24. Well, see, there is always kibble in the big bowl here. But, sometimes, Mumsy lets it get down to where you can SEE the bottom of the bowl! Then we all have to alert her until she comes and fixes it.

  27. We always show up wherever the head peep is working in the house to let her know our tummies are rumbly when mealtime is near. Though sometimes we are told that we are waaaaay too early. It's never too early for dinner!

  28. Madi, I feel your pain, you wouldn't believe what I have to do to get fed some days. Sheeesh, its not like she has anything better to do. We need to keep them on their toes all the time. Its a tough job, I understand.
