F4: Flowers, Feline, Female on Friday

Today post is brought to you by the letter
F
We are pleased to join Dory

Dory we have two hostas about to bloom and a Black Tie Camellia with tons of buds, which we hope to feature it next year.  We had the yard spruced up recently by our good buddy Adam from Lawn Detailing and Enhancement.  We thought we'd use that for today.  All the house stuff of late has been 'cause my staff is older than dirt and lazy wants things low maintenance.  They had lots of old ivy areas dug beside the front porch (where the Camellia is planted).  That patch by the porch was a bear to maintain.  It often took Dad several hours to trim it. Now it is
GONE!!
Dad asked Adam to thin out the ivy in back, make a gravel bed, add pavers with Hosta and Liriope borders (large picture below) Adam called it 'our sanctuary'.  Adam is fun-gi.  Mom says he looks like Neil McCoy the country singer.  Dad put a gazing ball there too.

In June 25, 2009...we started blogging.....
Today, September 2, 2016, I am here to tell your two tales

Tale 1
No matter what mom says I'm a working gal.
Every chance I get I help or snoopervise whatever is going on in Manor Madi.  I have my own tools, a tool belt and a battery
operator drill.

PICTURE 1 water mark near my back left paw

Tale 2
After 7 years and 3 months,
TOGM (the old gray mare to those who dont't know) has finally
learned how to put a watermark on my photos...MOL
TOGM is slow but she is determined....
Picture 2 watermark bottom left corner.

She will probably be playing with it some more but we are wondering which one you like best picture 1 or 2.
TOGM likes #1 because it is more transparent

PSA to my friends at TROUT TALKING TABBIES
TOGM has not run out of chalk!!!  She is just learning new stuff.
My TTT friends always enjoy searching for where TOGM puts 'madi and mom'

Both are good marks - but might serve different purposes - for most shots, the first is pawfect, but for PSA or mosaics like the top one, the second is better! Good to know you have toolz skillz... hugs and whiskeries, YAM-aunty xxx

  12. Dad has lots of tools too. Way too many, ghostwriter says, and they take up half the garage. When I see him with some of his tools, I usually go and hide, because it usually means lots of loud noise, banging, and shouting will ensue. I'm sure that doesn't happen when you use your tools, though Madi.

  19. Low maintenance is the best! Who needs to do hours of extra work.
We think your watermark looks really nice. We have heard of numerous people having their photos stolen from their blogs so good idea.

  20. Your sanctuary is BEAUTIFUL! And our Mom agrees; low maintenance is where it's at! We like photo #1 best and like knowing you have your own working tools, Madi!

  21. That sanctuary looks great. Mom loves the gazing ball. We need a lot of work done in our yard too, but first Mom says she needs one of US to learn to mind HIS own business and stay out of the gardens:)

We like the first watermark better too, maybe make it just a tad bigger.

  23. We liked that watermark, mom does not know how to do that, so I guess Henri will just pee in the corner of ours, and we will call it one. Mom loved the glazing ball and how you have the yard around it. So pretty. stella rose

  24. I like the first watermark too... am I missing something? I just use Pixlr's text tool and slap a watermark on, usually my initials or Under the Oaks... :) I could do it through photoshop elements but too lazy to mess with it! And true what Two French Bulldogs says, sadly. Just keeps honest peeps honest. We are cutting back on the outside work too, we is tired!

  25. It's hard to say unless we saw both watermarks on the same photo. Your mom should be able to put it on a transparent background. Gee Madi, that is one major tool kid you got there! You gonna build a better mousetrap?

    Murphy & Stanley

  26. Madi, we thin you, your tool belt and Adam need to visit us. We have lots of minor jobs that need doing.

SHE can't put a watermark on photos...not that SHE's ever tried.

  27. Madi, so cool! I would not even to begin the water mark....Good for you blogging since 2009. That is awesome! I love the green gazing ball. I have a red one!!
    Happy Labor Day!

  33. Excellent to have your own tools and tool belt! You ARE a working cat!
We plaster a watermark right across us. Someone was stealing our photos, cutting off Mom's watermark in the corner, and was claiming we were hers! This person also renamed us and made up stories about how abused we were until she came along, blah, blah, blah. It was horrid! Another blogger saw our pix on this person's Instagram feed and let Mom know. To say Mom wasn't a happy camper doesn't begin to cover things.
