TODAY I'M JOINING MY BUDDY SAMMY FROM
Today's poem is brought to you by the letter
M
Madi and Mom
Are two M's in a pod!
They share a blog.
You can't say one without the other tagging along.
When they are separated, the odds are
there will be trouble.
One is like a stalker with the horrible
flashy beast.
When hunger strikes, one acts a tad feisty!
Mom knows how to calm Madi's inner beast
with just the pop of a top.
Madi comes running only to stop just inches
from her feast!!
THE END
(did we hear a collective sigh and appaws)
Hari OM
ReplyDeleteI totally pictured you running to the sound of that popping top, Madi!!! Love that you found a snuggle-bunny to snoozzzzzze with &*> Hugs and whiskeries, YAM-aunty xxx
Cute poem, Madi! My human and I are a team too - although for some crazy reason, she thinks she's the leader. Ha.
ReplyDeleteYou did indeed hear applause. But also I have a question. Madi, you stop 'inches from the feast'? That is too far away I think.
ReplyDeleteToodle pip!
Bertie.
PS Gail is telling me about something called 'poetic license'???
I say you're a DIVA and must remain so
ReplyDeleteRhyming is not something you possess...
I'm here for you...from the get-go
Sending hugs your way --and a soothing caress!!!
If at first you don't succeed
Poetry takes work...
Your beautiful purrsonality we are agreed:
...is your main talent...your perk!!!
