Lovely contrast shots, Cecilia! Am on the tablet as voovoo packed to go in the car shortly...off to Edinburgh again. But you know I can't resist the plates!!!

    #12- could they be Canadian?
#14- lump sum turnkey, engineering procurement and construction...he's a builder offering total service
#19- seems to be the callout for folk in the 'lularoe' community... lularoe.com
#22- Yens is a surname but the rest wouldn't make sense then... so it is more likely they have roots in Yens (a canton of Switzerland) and als Germany (intn'l symbol D)
#27- seems to be a basketball reference when jumping at the net
#29- could be a pkayon Lucille... or it could be the seal watching trip organiser in Plockton Scotland. Or it could be https://www.luseal.dog
    #34...well that's a relief!!!

  2. Love those autumn leaves - on cloudy days and sunny days!

  3. Hmmm, some of these are puzzling for sure. I love the really creative ones, but the ones where a person is just showing off their wealth or talents are a little, well, obnoxious. Don't get me wrong- if I had a brag-worthy skill I'd wanna tell the world, but come on...

  4. We'd like to think #29 is the Plockton seal watcher!

  5. Nice contrast of the photos, but the sunny one makes me happier, and it shows off the leaves better!

  6. Love those cloudy days of autumn. Find a comfy place inside, curl up and read blogs or watch a good movie. A walk in the afternoon is good, too :)
    Turtle Mist has me wondering!

  11. It seems all of our beautiful autumn leaves have disappeared and are now on the ground covered with snow. My ghostwriter says it's not fair. We didn't get enough Fall time! She also says she tried to look for funny license plates, but can then never remember them by the time she gets home! We're glad to see the funny ones you find!

  12. We like your blues sky picture the best and wish we could see some around here sometimes. Those plates are always interesting.

  13. We love the photos. This is a great composition for light and contrast. You should take that shot over a whole year. It’s so cool watching the seasonal transition too.

  17. Leave it to Yam Aunty to clear up those plates for us! I loves your pics, butts Ma, being one that suffers from SAD (seasonal affective disorder), she likes the sunny one! ☺

  20. I always wonder why people pay for vanity plates that most people don't "get."
