Thoroughly Poetic Pictorial Thursday

Today we join Two  SPOILED CATS
Angel Sammy and Teddy for their poetic pictorial poem.
Here is our photo challenge

Summer Job
by Cecilia

He pounded the pavement,
he gave it his all.
Looking for a job was a bore.
From door to door he went
in hopes of a summer job to score.
At every door, all he found was
sympathetic smiles, shaking heads and more.
He put on his best smile as he rang the bell
at door four hundred and four.
There was a thunderous roar from behind the door.
When it opened, he saw at least 87 wagging tails,
and furry faces galore.
Alas he found his calling, it would be
fun and for sure not a bore.
He was gonna be a dog walker for ever more!!

Teddy and Pam what a great photo!!

  1. Super poem!
To me, that photo just inspires very non-poetic thoughts about poo bags...
    Cheers! Gail.

  4. HAHAHA! What a GREAT poem for the photo this week....we just love it. Imagine walking all those dogs and making sure they don't leave any "sign" they were there. I hope this guy makes a pile of money because he deserves it! Thanks for the super duper poem this week.

    Hugs, Teddy

Your poem sums up the picture wonderfully... but I can't help but worry, as in OZ (and I think here too) dog walkers have a maximum of six dogs per outing due to control (and poo-picking) issues! YAM xx

  8. BOL!! What a wonderful poem..Mama says she wonders if this is how our Daddy feels when he is walking all of us...Mama says we may only be three dogs, but we feel like ten dogs when she tries to walk us all at the same time!
