Glamping
By TOGM (the old gray mare)
I've never been camping....
I hear glamping is quite the rage.
This chick is too old.
Glamorous
Lovely accommodations
Ants would find me
Mosquitoes too
Probably chiggers and ticks
Insects see me as a buffet
Never want to sleep in the out of doors
Gracious me I wish I was bold
The bugs....yes....that's what would get to me. However, I might sleep in a set-up like that. Though I can't see the ensuite!
ReplyDeleteMy momma's lucky - bugs always seem to bite her sister instead! Except for bees - bees always find her.
ReplyDeleteMom has ever only been to Girl Scout camp and that was YEARS ago. Love your poem!
ReplyDeleteLOL, I agree, it's hotels all the way for me!
ReplyDeleteWhat a neat tent, but I'm with you.....I'll stay in the house. My only 2 times at camping were horrible.
ReplyDeleteHari OM
ReplyDeleteHahahahaha - oh this was great, both the haiku and the acrostic!!! YAM xx
No camping for me! As Miss Ellen said I need a private place to pee! I'd be booking a hotel with a bathtub, a must for me!
ReplyDeleteOur mom feels the same way you do about camping. We think your poems are perfect.
ReplyDeleteMomma doesn't camp. But she says she'd lounge there a bit.
ReplyDeleteI'll stay outside all day, but at night, I want to sleep INSIDE!
ReplyDeleteI'm so with you on camping. It's not my cup of tea either. I did it once and it was the most miserable and the longest night of my life. Never again.
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous Thursday, my friend. Big hug. ♥
I could live like that.
ReplyDeleteGreat poem! I am not a camper either. XO
ReplyDeleteCount me in on that one too! No thanks - glamping I could do but camping - ouch on the old back!!
ReplyDeleteHugs, Pam

Oh, I thinks that looks like funs! Ma, who SAYS she and the fam always went camping EVERY year on 'vacation', told me this is the way to go. Regular camping is not for the OCD impaired...or Ma's that freak out abouts spiders! BOL!
ReplyDeleteKisses,
Ruby ♥
