Happy Tuesday

Now I know what love is.....
Love is a four-legged word

Below is picture of an amazing sighting we had at Seaboard Cafe on Saturday. Have you ever seen an African Basenji in the furs?
I have only seen them in dog shows.  They are rather exotic he/she was walking with the humans outside the Cafe.  Photo from Gigi Google but this is the exact one we saw.  They come in tri-colored white, black and copper, brindle and black and white.
They have the cutest curly tail.  Just gorgeous.
Wikipedia says:
The Basenji produces an unusual yodel-like sound (commonly called a "baroo"), due to its unusually shaped larynx.  This trait also gives the Basenji the nickname "barkless dog".

  1. Like you, never saw one in the furs--just photos or dog shows on television. Interesting that you saw one.

I have known two Basenji's in the furs. In Sydney, folk like 'different' dogs and these definitely count! They are very close to the ancient Pariah and wild breeds, so are notoriously independent-thinking dogs, making training a challenge only experienced dog-handlers should undertake. YAM xx

  6. We have seen a Basenji that was visiting at a neighbors house. We wanted to hear him yodel but he didn't. They are beautiful dogs!

  7. I used to work for a vet many years ago and a client had Basenjis. He emigrated from South Africa and brought them with him. I think they were both brindles, but I can't be sure after all this time (about 50 years!)

  23. Did you hear there is a 12 word phrase you can tell your man... that will trigger intense emotions of love and impulsive appeal for you buried within his chest?

Because deep inside these 12 words is a "secret signal" that fuels a man's impulse to love, cherish and look after you with all his heart...

12 Words Will Fuel A Man's Desire Impulse

This impulse is so built-in to a man's brain that it will drive him to try harder than before to make your relationship as strong as it can be.

Matter-of-fact, triggering this mighty impulse is so binding to getting the best possible relationship with your man that the second you send your man a "Secret Signal"...

...You'll soon notice him expose his heart and mind to you in a way he never experienced before and he will perceive you as the one and only woman in the universe who has ever truly interested him.
