Nature, Feline and Critters Comfort

Thanks Comedy Plus for hosting

Thanks LLB Gang for hosting

Our guest room is currently at capacity with stuffy critters.
I decided to make them a critter size throw pillow.
Over they years you saw at least 87 photos of Angel Madi and her bunny Spring.
Here:

Bunny Spring,  Bear Heart and Mouse Topo (Topo is the brain child of Mara at Weighty Matters)
Their little critter pillow: front top 2 photos, back bottom.
Of course the kitty fabric with the gray kitty front and center is honor of Angel Madi

The next collage of critter comforts was taken in
the room of Angel Madi's favorite Sissy and BIL
Collage features
Beatrice Bear and Zip my Beanie Baby Kitty...with a pink nose
The pillow is an hour glass pattern made of moons in different colors and white fabric with sparkles.
It fits the theme of the night skies

Back of  the night sky pillow (which by the way is my last completed project).  I haven't been to JoAnn's in several weeks
This fabric is sparkly.  You can biggify to see sparkles aka stars

Oh the things I learn and see while walking around my 'hood.  ON Wednesday
a truck passed by me.  I didn't have my camera.
However, My Mind's Eye went wild with the name. Doody Calls.

Could it possibly be a service to pick up dog waste in yard?
When I got home, I typed  Doody Calls
 in to Gigi Google.
Quite an interesting website...services start as $12.00.
As always, Gigi had a wealth of information and photos.

Bella, Dui and Roxy...the other day while exchanging emails with HER,
she mentioned her chore for the day was picking up 'landmines'!
Please be sure she knows about this service.
Thank you
Hugs Cecilia

  1. we ponder if we call that company.... all peeps walk their dogs now insidde of da village and meanwhile it needs a differed name... plumieux should be poop-mieux now LOL

  2. We love the critter pillow in honour of Madi.
As for DoodyCalls - if all dogs behaved like Bertie they would be out of business in a flash. Bertie absolutely refuses to leave his 'landmines' in my garden. His insistence on being at least 100 meters from the house before 'evacuating' is in normal times not a problem, but has presented a few challenges this past few weeks...
    Happy Nature Friday!
    Cheers, Gail.

  7. I first heard of this service from my niece in Augusta GA, they have 5 huskies, and pay 75 a month for doody calls. I told Bob and he said we need to pay ourselves because for 35 years we have picked up land minds daily from 5 dogs, of course only 3 years of 3 dogs at one time. we have a system. and its free. ha ha love all your pillows, you are doing so great with your quilts and pillows.. I know your critters are happy to have their own decorations.

  8. Your pillows look great. It looks like the stuffies are enjoying them too. Our pawrents are the "Doody Calls" crew around here. They pick up our doody immediately after it happens twice a day. We don't understand how people can leave all that mess in their yard. You would never be able to go out in the yard without watching your every step. We enjoy being in our yard as a family so if it's clean we can enjoy without worry. It really doesn't take much effort and it's done 365 days a year in all kinds of weather.

  11. Very sweet flashback of Madi and her bunny Spring. Your pillow is darling and it is nice to see Topo. Your night sky pillow is cool. I use the Calm app and they have bedtime stories for us oldsters and one of the stories is about the night sky with stars and shooting stars.

  20. I'd have to pay extra for that service. The dogs are very creative in hiding landmines way back behind bushes!!! Love the cushions.

  21. The pillows are lovely. We bet the stuffies love them too. Are you still making masks? Mom says she wishes she could do some sewing now, it would be nice to have some around here.

As for Doody Calls - Mom hired a firm to take care of our yard since it is hard for her to do poop patrol with her recovering arm issue. Guess what it is called? DOODIE SOLDIERS!!! She has been very pleased with the service, they do a great job.

  27. I collected Boyd's bears for years and have so many for the grandbabies to play with now. We put one in the window for the children in the neighborhood that are going on "bear hunts" during self-isolation.
