Happy Tuesday Tale of staying busy

During our stay at home experience I have read a lot.
Started sorting thru photo albums that were at my Parent's home.
I finally felt comfortable going the the Dollar store in search of
some jigsaw puzzles.  I was Puzzled to discover they only had puzzles for
children.  Of course I bought a kitty puzzle.

It was only 48 pieces...LOL so I paced myself as I assembled it.  I also have a larger one of Minnie Mouse...YES I'll share when I do it.
Once I conquer kiddy puzzles I look for some adult puzzles.
I have  perfect place to work on puzzles and sort photos.
My husband had a huge cabinet built in his train room to store lots of boxes. In  the center of the cabinet, we set up our vintage turntable (early 1980's) it plays vinyls/radio combination.

As I mentioned on Thankful Thursday, today at 10 AM
JUNE 2, 2020 we are getting our very first haircuts since mid February.
Needless to say we are giddy with gleefulness.
And excited to catch up with Debra...she also is heavily involved in
TNR and fostering.

Last Tuesday we had eye appts that had been postponed from April.
Judging by their protocol, I expect
today's 2 pm, appointment for my routine dental visit to be a new experience.
From the little bit I was told on the phone, I understand, it is thorough.

I AM FINE WITH THAT.

So all this being said I might be MIA for several hours today.

our dentists are nowhere near being open yet... but in England they are and all sorts of high-level paraphernanigans are going on with that! Now, I think we ought to get before and after shots of the hair!!! YAM xx

  4. Yes, I agree with YAM, before and after shots please! No date yet has been set for haircuts in Scotland.
I hope the visit to the dentist goes smoothly, and best of luck with the jigsaws. (Strangely, although I loved jigsaws as a child, I have no interest in them as an adult. I am however trying to get back into doing cryptic crosswords.)
    Cheers, Gail.

  6. What a cute puzzle and a great place to work it! I got an email from the dentist yesterday wanting me to set up an appointment but I really want to see the eye doctor first. Phase 2 is scheduled to happen here on June 20th.

  8. Oh the Mpm here loves to do puzzles but the cat residents just love to push the pieces all over the place, never to be found again. You all have a good day and hope the dentist goes well.

  10. We like how you "paced" yourself on that puzzle and hope you can find some adult sized ones too. Our mom is having her first haircut since early March next week and she is looking forward to it. Lots of protocols in place to keep customers at a reasonable distance from each other.

  11. I love jigsaw puzzles. They are most fun to do. Kitty and puppy ones are the very best. That kitty does look a lot like Kat.

We are giddy about our hair appointments this coming Thursday and I got a nail appointment for Friday. Happy days.

Thank you for joining the Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.

Have a fabulous Happy Tuesday. Big hug honey. ♥

  13. Our governor just announced the end to 'Stay At Home', and I cannot wait to schedule a hair cut! Dentist will be next, and some other stuff...slowly, but surely.

  14. so now that we are partially open you're going and getting all the appointments you should have had two months ago and I know that the happiest of all is the one with the haircut! I get cranky when my hair gets too long but then I get cranky when my hair is short haha! that is a really cute puzzle

  17. Our dentists are still closed but a possible reopening date is June 8th if all the criteria are met. I hope it is soon as I had a bridge come out whilst chewing on a toffee. Now I can't smile at anyone.
Hairdressers can't start until July 4th or possibly later.

  20. Even with puzzles you have to take baby steps. Mom got her first haircut in months today.

  21. I got my hair cut last week - what a wonderful feeling - a little bit of "normal" is back. Still can't get dental - until later in this month and I was due in April. Need eyes checked too but that's not happening here QUITE yet. It's just a good feeling when you can do these things again isn't it! Love your "work" spaces - for train, projects, and music!

    Hugs, Pam

  22. We are definitely experiencing a new normal, but better than what we are hopefully coming out of.
