Happy Tuesday Tale/Tail starring Baker

First of all I apologize for the window screen photos
but sometimes you just have a moment to grab something this Happy.

Baker (named after a football player) is the grand-dog of our next door neighbors.
He is a handsome Golden Retriever with a billion dollar happy-tude.
He spends 2 or 3 days a week with Grandma L.
I first met him when he was just an armful of puppy with a gleeful bark, which by the way he still has.   (I can't tell you how many times I bite my tongue to keep from calling him
Barker when I see him).

So these photos were taken Monday, September 21, when Baker was with Grandma L.
Trash pick up for our neighborhood is bright an early Tuesday morning. Everyone usually has their bins on the curb on Monday night.
Baker and Grandma L had just returned from a walk, she unhooked his leash dropped it in the yard where Baker was sitting while she was getting the bins to the curb.
All of a sudden Baker became possessed he jumped up grabbed his leash in his mouth and started the most gleeful prancing and running and jumping I have ever seen.  I hope these photos
give you a Happy Tuesday.

This is the end of a very Happy Tuesday tale/tail.
What a great PLAY BOW😍.

Shortly after I prepared this post I read Drabble with Wally the Dachshund
I think it fully embraces the joy dogs find every day!!
Cartoonist Brian Fagan is surely owned by a Dachshund

  1. love it... seems Baker is a self-walking dog... we like that solution, he has a leash but runs free...

  8. If I ever got the chance to "walk myself" on a leash, I would be halfway across the neighborhood by now!

  9. Baker / Barker is absolutely adorable and I wish I could have seen and heard it myself. Dogs are such a joy! Next time you're shooting through the screen if you touch the lens of the camera to the glass the screen disappears The Closer you get to the screen the last the screen show
