Now that cooler weather is here, we are taking morning walks
I snapped this photo on a recent walkabout.
It made me smile...are you SMILING?
Each Saturday after we have lunch at Seaboard we like to stroll around to see what is new. This birdbath/water fountain caught my eye.
Miscellaneous shots from Shelley Lake Trail
the lake meanders along the trail forming babbling brooks
Lots of bridges too.
Lots of gravel trials too probably for biking
One day we might just have to take this one
Sun peeping through the tall trees highlighting some trail art
Yes this is really steep you can have a great
cardio workout on almost all the trails
So many decisions which way to go and always lots of
pups taking their people for walks.
oooh the bird bath!! that's wonderful! we love your photos and we grinned about the dogs who walk their peeps, yes that's what it is ;O)
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty fountain/bird bath! You sure do have the most scenic places to walk!

Love that. We have a fountain in front of our home and the birds come and drink and bathe. It's so fun to watch them.

I love that fountain! We have one (not like that one) in our garden and I love to watch the birds visiting it
ReplyDeleteLooks like a great place to go for a walk and we like that sign in the first photo. We could use that over our water bowls.
ReplyDeleteFirst of all, your header is awesome. Love Angel Madi and the huge inflatable. More lovely pictures from Shelley Lake. Seaboard is such a great place to relax and have FOOD!

ReplyDeleteWe love Angel Madi's costume!
The Florida Furkids
Lovely place to stroll through and enjoy being outside.
ReplyDeleteThat bird bath is amazing! It's a work of art! And both of those Trails the one with the art and the one without I would love to walk them of course she said they're steep so who knows if I could do them these days I'm so used to walking on flat ground. I love the dappled sunlight! And of course my favorite thing is that eat drink and be hairy! Several of our Parks here have water fountains for dogs
ReplyDeleteGreat place to go for a walk! Great photos!
ReplyDeleteHow nice of the neighbor to put water out for passing pups. That trail area looks like a great place to wander around and getting a nice work out is a bonus.
ReplyDeleteI like that birdbath/fountain and how cool to see the famous fork in the road!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful place for a walk!
ReplyDeleteI do not want to live on a lake, river, or ocean, but I'd love to have access to a babbling brook!
ReplyDeleteYou always find such great places for your walks. We need to move to Raleigh and follow the trails too.

ReplyDeleteAn impressive share, I just given this onto a colleague who was doing a little analysis on this. And he in fact bought me breakfast because I found it for him.. smile. So let me reword that: Thnx for the treat! But yeah Thnkx for spending the time to discuss this, I feel strongly about it and love reading more on this topic. If possible, as you become expertise, would you mind updating your blog with more details? It is highly helpful for me. Big thumb up for this blog post!
