Awww Monday and Sparks

On November 4th we took our daily walk on the trail around Shelley Lake.
I have taken so many photos there I (stupidly) decided to leave my camera at home
THANK GOODNESS FOR Tracy my smart TracPhone.
I just knew by the time I got Tracy turned on, the Herons would be gone.
There was a Heron on each the 8 pilings. Calm and hardly moving.

You may Biggify to see better and see reflections too

These beautiful birds inspired me to find an appropriate Sparks Quote

  10. True, herons are beautiful, majestic birds. But they are also modern dinosaurs. If you're brave enough, go to youtube and type in "Herons (or egrets) eating." You won't believe your eyes!

  17. That is crazy with the herons... crazy good. I have never seen that many herons together. Great photo! Two wonderful Sparks inspired by herons. I find the first one very sweet. Herons certainly do exhibit those qualities in the second Spark. Lot to learn from herons!

  20. Those herons didn't seem to be in any hurry to go anywhere. Wonder if they were watching for fish...
