Dearest Aunty HiC

Can you find Kat in this picture?😹

Rocky still doesn’t understand boundaries...and Kat isn’t ready to share his space.
Look how Kat keeps his cool!
They do agree on one thing; watching squizzers 🐿 is Da

Today I join Ranger for Wacky January Holidays
Ranger thank you for starting the wacky tradition again
I'll be pawticipating in the wackiness often.
Today Janaury 5th is
National bird Day...
I love all birds (well maybe their are some that I tolerate like the loud blue jay)
HOWEVER my very favorite bird E V E R is the
Ruby Throated Hummingbird, it is the only Hummer we see in this part of North Carolina
The blow photo is the best photo I've ever taken of a hummer
this is a Male as noted by its Ruby Red throat
photo taken September 15, 2011, thru the window which had a screen on it.
It was perched on a tree limb directly above the humming bird feeder
Hummers make me Happy any day of the week
Kat, you have the best place in da house... we guard that shiny thing too... and da phenny can even open it... yay!
ReplyDeleteSuch wonderful four-footed grands you have! Love seeing them (and we have some partiality for Labs admittedly) ... cool hummer shot, too, they're so so hard to capture!
ReplyDeletePup, you are a handsome dude. Your brothers will eventually get along.
ReplyDeleteLuv the hummer.
It says a whole lot that Rocky is upstairs full time now. They will get it figured out. Pup you are a good choice to keep the harmony! Nice to see a hummer this morning... it is cold here. 2011 is truly a ways back!
ReplyDeleteHari OM
ReplyDeleteWEll, that is some fine news to start the year with. I am sure that Kat will be won round. Eventually... hugs and whiskeries and wags to the nephews! YAM-aunty xx
It is a good idea to guard the shiny box, Kat. You never know what might come out of it.
ReplyDeleteWe hope the boy kitties can become good pals really soon so they can sure some fun and adventures!
ReplyDeleteWe hope that one day soon, your brothers will be the best of friends, Pup. Hummers are so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteIt's good to hear Rocky has made it to full time status and we hope Kat will someday let them share the dry sink. We love hummers here too and always have a pair or two that raise their young in our yard (to be accurate the female does ALL the raising).
ReplyDeleteit is fantastic to hear from Pup, Kat and Rocky. I have missed there faces and stories. wild clapping over the three of them living together. i am sure it will get better and better but even if it does not, they are good like they are... much better that i thought it would be... I have never seen a hummer in real life
ReplyDeleteIt's great to see Pup, Kat and Rocky together. We know they will be pals soon.
ReplyDeleteThe Florida Furkids
Time will make the situation better, no doubt. We humans can be too nervous!
ReplyDeleteIt takes time to settle into your new home especially when there are two babies that are there already. Things will work out. Patience.
ReplyDeleteI so enjoy seeing and hearing about Auntie C's babies. Precious.
Thank you for joining the Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Happy Tuesday. Big hug, Honey. ♥
We always enjoy the report from Pup of the Cats. Kat cracks me up! And we have a few hummers around Midway in the summer. Out on the coast we had them all year and Mom put out nectar for them all winter. It is hard to photos, they move so fast!
ReplyDeletePurrs Marv, Jo Jo, Kozmo, Cinnamon and Barb
One of our human sisters' family got Mom a beautiful hummingbird feeder and a big bottle of nectar for Christmas. Now she has to figure out where to hang it so the squirrels don't get it AND she can both reach it and see it from inside. She loves hummers too.
ReplyDeleteWoos - Lightning, Misty, and Timber
Nice to see Kat and family. We feed hummers in the summer and miss them all winter. XO
ReplyDeleteBY spring time all will have settled down in your cozy home! Cheers! And our favorite hummingbird is the Annas as we have them here along with the Rufuos (sp? ) hummingbird!
ReplyDeleteMy two male cats used to love to get on their hind legs and box each other. MOL! I’m ready for our hummingbirds to return.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure your kitty cat cousins will soon learn to get along, especially with you, Pup, as the ref!
ReplyDeleteNice shot of that hummer! We used to have a hummingbird feeder. But the Evil Squirrel Cartel chewed it up! So we just try to grow flowers for the hummers instead.
Roll Tide! We are happy to see Rocky fitting in so well
ReplyDeleteWe sure hope Rocky and Kat can work things out so they can be buddies and pals. These things take time!!!
ReplyDeleteHugs, Teddy
It does look like the K(C)at relationship is coming along in the right direction. And it's wonderful to have a peaceful K-9 brother for them. Loved the pictures, and Pup rocks that scarf.
ReplyDeleteThey sure seem to have a bit of boundary busting but, that is fine they are warming up we think. Great photos and a Hummer! Wowzer
