First thank you all for your wonderful birthday wishes yesterday.
It was indeed a fine day, it started out with a take out breakfast from Panera
Asiago Breakfast sandwich. Afterwards to took a nice walk. We had sunshine for my birthday.

Thanks LLB Gang for hosting Nature Flower Friday
Speaking of Nature: As I was preparing this post the weather man was rumbling about freezing precipitation today. I'll be eager to see what Mother Nature left for us today.
Collage photos from Shelley Lake.
Murphy, Stanley and Mom sent me this photo of UtaH Sparrows roosting
in the same tree the Robins used a few weeks ago
The object on the left is a hook not a Sparrow.
Angel Madi January 2014..she was quite the leaper.
EARLY LAST WEEK I WAS COUNTER SURFING ON THE COUNTER BEHIND ME WHEN MOM BELLOWED
(SERIOUSLY THE WOMAN NEEDS TO USE HER INSIDE VOICE)
I MADE A DEATH DEFYING LEAP TO THE OTHER
COUNTER TO SEE WHAT CAUSED THE BELLOWING
the bird tree would be a fab thing for our garden ;O))) and we remember the fabulous counter leaps... the spectacular one is our alltime favorite ;O)
ReplyDeleteOooh look at all those sparrows. Thanks to the Doodz for sharing.
ReplyDeleteGlad you had a good birthday in the limited circumstances. Sunshine always helps! And ice cream of course.
We have a sprinkling on snow in Aberdeen this morning.
Happy Nature Friday.
Toodle pip!
Bertie.
Madi was a good jumper! have used the random phot today for the date you asked for.
ReplyDeleteSpectacular jump, Madi, and thank goodness you put on the breaks and didn't skid! We see pretty leaves at Shelley Lake! Mint Chocolate Chip - yummmmmm
ReplyDeleteWow, if I even tried to jump like that... Anyhoo, mmmmmm, ice cream cake! Just sayin'.
ReplyDeleteMadi's leaps were Olympic worthy! Glad you had a great birthday day! SSNS and I are going to have to try that Asiago breakfast sandwich. Oh NO about the freezing precip! We have another cold front dropping in... makes me happy, I get to wear my jeans! We had a cold December and January is continuing the trend. Good Morning!
ReplyDeleteAw, no ice cream cake. I guess a big bowl made up for it.
ReplyDeleteNeat picture of the birds.
Madi was a professional counter surfer.
Bummer on the ice cream cake.
ReplyDeleteWe love that photo of Angel Madi and remember it from the original posting.

ReplyDeleteWe're glad you had a good birthday, along with some yummy treats! Those birdies remind me of the big flocks of starlings we have around here this time of year. Oh, and that was some heck of a leap for Maddie! (I wonder if my kitty cousins do things like that?)

ReplyDeleteHappy belated birthday wishes! I'm sorry none of the proper cake though.
ReplyDeleteGreat photos of Nature. That is what we have to protect. Dad laughed so loud as he remembered when he tried to teach our Angels "Don't go up there." Yeah, the glass collection is no more or put away and by the time we arrived he knew it was our house, counters and all
