Oh man 
look at all that sand 
in one hot, spot.

Two things I not
like are
 heat and hot.

If I were a cat, 
no way would GO
in THAT

    Neither would I. I don't like heat and with 85F which is 20 degrees above normal and no a/c, I wish it would go away!

    We lived in desert location for 4 years in El Paso,TX on Biggs Army Airfield. We did okay and I even enjoyed it... we were a lot younger then! I even rode my horse every ding dang day! I'd take that part of Texas over Florida any day! It was HOT but nothing like the heat and HUMIDITY of Florida! I enjoyed your poem!

    the feet would burn, the ire would be earned.

    Hot is right! Imagine endless HOT sand...no thanks! Teddy said that litterbox is way too big for him. AND I sure wouldn't want to clean it out!
