Nature, Feline Flashback, and Fill in Friday

Nature Friday host LLB Gang  and Feline Friday  host Comedy Plus

The window featured for today's Nature Friday is just to the left what we fondly called the Diva Throne.

Just about 6 pm on Thursday September 2nd I noticed this purrfect reflection on the wall.

L: wall above tv this wall is across the room from the window

R: window facing south.  As the sun is setting, it peeps thru this window for about 2 minutes.  Yep photography is about timing and lighting.

This chair was Madi's highway to all of her grand adventures.  As a young whippersnapper, she often jumped up to the mantel for a casual sashay over to the other end to jump up about 18" to the top of the 8' tall Curio cabinet....for a nap.

Feline Friday Flashback July 2018

Well it seems I was caught in the midst of a grand adventure and I might be busted...

might have messed up my gravy train...might have a hard time pleading my case as a poor pitiful
aging Senior Lady.

You see I thought my peeps were busy upstairs.  I made a wee too much noise mom came down to see what was what.  Dang iPad was handy and there is documentation.

Note from Mom:  In my humble opinion, if Madi(son) D Cat, can jump on the back of the chair, I think she is quite capable of jumping into the chair w/o the little gray Stool with skid proof top that was purchased JUST FOR a Diva. I REST MY CASE

Note from Madi(son) D Cat:  Mom all I hear is blah blah blah.....I need the stool to conserve my energy so that I can jump on to the back of the chair!! I REST MY CASE

Does anyone have anything to add to this saga?

Friendly Fill-Ins

I thank hosts, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs and Ellen at 15 cats

1. My cure for the hiccups is teaspoon of HONEY
2. I am currently watching ( or reading) Hot Dogby Laurien Berenson. It is about dog shows.  Main characters are Dox the Hot Dog, and Eve and Faith Standard Poodles. I have always been fascinated by Westminster and other dog shows.
3. I would recommend walking outside to anyone who feels stressed.
4. I can do without sweet ice tea as long as I have coffee.

  6. That reflection photo is awesome. It looks like it is being beamed onto that wall. Mom has always used walking for reducing stress. It is healthy and it works.

  7. This is a fun packed post this morning! I have always loved that window and its various reflections on the wall. Madi and her Throne♥ I remember about the mantel and this adventure with the chair. In the third sequence of the adventure where she makes it to the chair and won't look at you... cracks me up. CC Madi: What? I wasn't doing nothin'! She is missed♥ I love it when you do Fill-Ins! Jerry and I love to watch the Westminster! I do the Fill-Ins in Ellen's comment section.

  10. I remember all the things we did for our Angel Little Bit as she aged. She appreciated every one of them. Great to see Angel Madi had the same care.

Love your fill-ins and in about half an hour it's time to go for my walk. I walk with hubby and our neighbor from across the street. Wonderful thing.

Thank you for joining the Feline Friday Blog Hop.

Have a purrfect Feline Friday and weekend. Big hugs. ♥

  11. We really enjoyed seeing Madi up and climbing. Buddy Budd used to do the same thing climbing all over anywhere but where Dad put the step. Our kitties are the best! Good fill ins and Dad has used the Honey Method also. Have a great weekend

  16. I LOVE that picture of the reflection coming from the window and the window, I would LOVE having one like that but my house does not lend itself to something so lovely. Madi, I wish we had exchanged MORE ideas before we couldn't I will check and see if my tunnel has a coordinate to the outer Bridge. Occasionally kitties can go there and shout across the rainbow at the ones who came before...

  21. We've discovered that the hesitancy to jump has a lot to do with the surface from which they are jumping. A hardwood floor can be slippery when launching. Xena told me this, which is why I always have to pick her up when she is trying to get into bed from my side, that is without a carpet.
A teaspoon of sugar makes my hiccups stop, so it must be something in the sweetness.
    Have a lovely weekend.
