Thursday This and That

Kit, aka mom of Pup, Kat and Rocky, sent me this with a note saying
"This is us Sister".  We are both only children.  We have adopted each other as 'Heart Sisters'.   Kit and I are Southern gals thru and thru.

Thoroughly Poetic Thursday will return October 21, 2021
Today a few random photos from our trip the Cedar Creek Gallery in early October.

I saw this list of Animal Opposites in the October 2021 issue of Reader's Digest.  I thought they were amusing.  My translation is on the right.

  4. I agree, the last one is lion!
The first time I heard myself on video many years ago I couldn't believe how Westcountry I sounded. A proper *Janner!
*Janner - a native of Plymouth but often used to cover the whole of Devon and Cornwall

  11. Such a fun bunch of goodies today! We understand the country thing and the southern thing. Every once in a while the Dad will turn on closed captioning on the TV when the southern news is on, it's pretty much a hoot reading the weird captions!

  16. I actually like cornbread!!
I guess if I were to record my voice I'd sound like a Midwestern hudpucker!! You know what a hudpucker is right? Maybe I should say chic farmhand.

Anyway loved the tour and naturally your Halloween spider!! Keep 'em coming.

  19. Mom says you have a very lovely voice and nothing like cornbread at all!!!

If Mom ever set foot in that Cedar Creek Gallery she would need to bring a lot of green papers because she sees so much she loves.

  23. I really like the soap bars with pictures of animals, but my favorite in your pictures is the blown glass lamp, and then the table next to it. Cute opposites.
