Awww Monday Spark and FFF Reminder

 Thank you to our

Host Comedy Plus

The loop of both leashes were around the table leg.  My first thought was I hope the hilarious scene from Marley and Me is not re-enacted.

If any one saw the movie Marley and Me or read the book, you will know what I mean.  If not, Marley was a Goofy yellow Lab.  His owner 'secured'  his leash like this in the movie.  Lo and behold a sassy French Poodle comes sashaying right in front of Marley.  He and the table give chase.  It was hilarious in the book and even funny in person.  I was reading the book at lunch time in a café.  I laughed so hard I had to move to an outside table to keep from disturbing the entire café.

While on our mini vacation we visited a shop with so many fun t-shirts
here is one.

Breaking news

Tomorrow, Tuesday September 27 I will post the names of sandwiches you all selected from my September 12th post.

  1. I have now been to several cafés and pubs with Gail and I've noticed she always checks the weight of the furniture before attaching my lead to it. I am a very good boy when I accompany her to these places, at least in terms of sitting quietly and calmly. Sometime it takes her a while to realise that I have started to chew wooden table legs...

  5. I can't read that book because my Lucy, the most wonderful thing that ever came into my life, is a yellow Lab. I know I would cry. I was going to say that if I had looped Lucy's leash around a table leg, she would just drag the table with her to be with me! Such a cute photo.

  6. That would not work for us to have our leash around something so lightweight. Hope no catastrophe ensued.

  8. Awww on the pups. They want to be with their peeps at all times.

You made me laugh with the book reading. I've done just that in public too. You made me chuckle.

  10. What a couple of cute pups. They look like they are only concerned with when their moms will return to the table and what type of nommy food will they bring with them.

  11. I hope those pups aren't disappointed by their Moms' choice of lunch items AND that they get to sample WHATEVER they are!! Glad you had (or are having) a grand time on your trip!
