Friday, October 28, I posted about Wooten Meadow Park, a new (to me) mini trail near my home. Today I'd like to share some of the mini critters I've seen when I'm on the trail.
Brown Millipede
This is a Green Caterpillar Moth, I think the correct name is Imperial.
There were several K9's walking their humans.
As I continued to walk to the left, the pup and owner on the left of the photo were close to me. I asked the human if I could pet the pup as she was eagerly walking toward me. He said of course she obviously likes you. Her name is Sophie she is a 5 year old Labradoodle. Oh was she soft and she was a leaner. The longer I rubbed her the closer she got.
The pup on the right side was seriously involved in a trainings session the human so I did not speak to them.
have a good armistice day... we ove the carterpillar... it's a non smoking one?

We went somewhere yesterday and the people's dog "Roxie" was a lover. I got licked good.

ReplyDeleteSweet Madi♥ I enjoy the swimmers, hoppers and inchers! Fun to meet pups on your walks. Lovely new park!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful park! We thank all of our Veterans for keeping us and our country safe.
ReplyDeleteAwww, I just melt when I see sweet Madi!!
ReplyDeleteNo words can follow the Diva's image.
I love all the names of the tiny critters you saw and the winner is Jimmy D Cricket! still laughing. I want to pet the leaner. Beau is the only dog we have ever been owned by that is a leaner.
ReplyDeleteI am always on the lookout for critters when I'm out on our walk. I don't mess with them either.
ReplyDeleteAw on Angel Madi.
Thank you for joining the Feline Friday Blog Hop.
Have a purrfect Feline Friday and weekend. Big hug, my friend. ♥
We're surprised to see tadpoles out this time of year. With all the warm weather we've had we're seeing lots of little critters that would normally be asleep by this time of year. That was nice of Sophie and her human to let you pet her.
ReplyDeleteI really like the insect names(and also glad I'm not the only one who names little buggles)!
ReplyDeleteHappy Veteran's Day!!
Love seeing photos of Angel Madi............I had a not very pleasant encounter with a bug yesterday - I went out on the front porch in my socks to put on my garden shoes that I keep my the door and a yellow jacket stung my foot......HOLY MOLEY DID THAT EVER HURT!
ReplyDeleteHugs, Pam
