ReplyDeleteWe always think it's funny that birds on a wire seem to line up with the same amount of space between them. Our guess is that the space is equal to their wing span so they can take off without knocking into each other.

ReplyDeletePoor birdies! We have big flocks of pigeons that like to gather on the telephone lines. The starlings are starting to wander around in huge, undulating flocks that can strip the berries off a hawthorn tree within minutes!
