Dearest Auntie HiC
Just checking in to tell you everybuddy is doing O K
here In OK
It’s currently 91° at Foss Lake State Park, OK, but the Canada Geese don’t mind. They’re always Honky Happy. 😹
The couple in the kayaks look like they’re having fun, but the gentleman just exclaimed, “Whew, I’m hot!”
We have a great campsite, & we’ve decided to extend our stay until the cold front & accompanying thunderstorms move through this area.
We’re always happy to investigate new sights, sounds, & smells.
This beautiful downy woodpecker was right out side the window!
Gotta go nap now! Bird-watching is exhausting!
❤️ Rocky
Dearest Rocky OMCs what an absolutley stunning
photo of you. Auntie thinks you look very regal. I might have kissed your sweet ginger noggin. Share the kisses with Kat.
I love your campsite...and the views from your window
Lovingly Auntie HiC
It's Happy Tuesday here Rocky as Gail is now happily reminiscing about her times spent on the lakes in various Oklahoma state parks (although the ones she visited e.g. Copan, Birch, Keystone) were further north east in the state.
ReplyDeleteWe’ve stayed in 2 state parks in OK, both are beautiful❣️
DeleteIt looks lovely there, but 91 is way too hot!
ReplyDeleteYes!
DeleteRocky, you have sent your aunt some wonderful news and pictures. We love seeing the downy woodpecker hanging on to the side of your home. And what a like to gaze out upon. Hope the storms aren't too bad.
ReplyDeleteFortunately, the severe storms stayed south of us❣️
DeleteLooks like y'all are having so much fun. Rocky and Kat, I'm glad your Mom and Dad take you on their trips.
ReplyDeleteThey’re not allowed to leave home without us❣️
DeleteHari OM
ReplyDeleteMy word that tree photo is magnificent! Rocky, you are clearly living your best life out there on the road with Kat and the peeps. Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
We wish all state parks were as beautiful as Foss. 😻
DeleteHow lovely to travel here, there, everywhere ... but 91 in April, no-no, it's too soon ... move along to cooler places.
ReplyDeleteYes, CO will be chilly❣️
DeleteRocky you are rocking the good looks today and your campsite is purrfect. I love trees and boy do you need shade with those temps. I had no idea it is hotter in OK than FL right now. learn something new every day
ReplyDeleteHot & very few trees, but the winds were howling! 😻
DeleteWhat a beautiful place Rocky and family found to stop on their trip. He sure looks happy hanging out and watching all the nature around them.
ReplyDelete😻
DeleteHello Rocky! I'm glad you are having a great time and it does look very pretty there!

DeleteWhat a beautiful campsite, Rocky! We love the woodpeckers - all of them.
ReplyDelete😻
DeleteRocky and Kat you are on quite a journey all together.
ReplyDeleteUnexpected to encounter 91°F in April! Far better than strong wind and rain as we had for a couple of days ago.
Enjoy the bird watching and safe travels to all!
Hugs,
Mariette + Kitties
We love RV-ing with the peeps❣️
DeleteWhat a beautiful place to camp, we hope the thunderstorms pass you by Rocky! What a pretty woodpeckeer...Mama is NOT happy with our Downy Woodpecker as her keeps getting into(and breaking) our hummingbird feeder. We told her it's time to get our the "heavy duty" feeder~
ReplyDeletexoxo,
Rosy and Sunny
Hope you got the woodpecker problem taken care of❣️
DeleteIt looks beautiful there, Rocky. And quiet. 91 is too hot even for Oklahoma. Hope the storms have moved out and you are on your way again. Lots of beauty to be seen for your trip!
ReplyDeleteVery quiet, just the way we like it❣️
DeleteThat looks like a wonderful campsite with lots of nice views. Those thunderstorms are moving through our area today and not making us veryt happy. As for those geese, our human brother in Texa ha a pool and they have two very naughty geese who keep thinking that pool is a bathroom just for their messy use.
ReplyDeleteWoos - Misty and Timber
Pee Ess your beautiful card arrived yesterday. Mom read it to us and we all had teary eyes. So kind of you to be thinking of us and sharing such nice words about Lightning. Thank you.
