I started working on this scarf in early fall 2024.
Holidays and 1 sinus infection and the CEC(Christmas Eve Crud)
got in the way. I finally finished it May 2, 2025.
1 skein of variegated yarn
a J hook
stitches are all single and double crochet
simple and easy...!!
Scarf is 6"wide x 42"long
April 30, 2025 our temperature was 90 degrees.
It broke the April 30, 1906 record
Now should we have a cold snap in May I'm and ready to stay warm.
I think it compliments my new fall coat
Woohoo lots of symmetry in hooking
It’s really pretty! I love your colors? We are going through a cold snap too.
ReplyDeleteThat is a very pretty scarf.

ReplyDeleteYes!!! The Linen stitching creates a lovely texture and those colours are perfect with your jacket. YAM xx
I love your new scarf and it looks so pretty with you fall coat!
ReplyDeleteThat's a gorgeous scarf! I never learned how to crochet, though I can do basic knitting. So pretty with your coat!
ReplyDeleteIs scarf is just simply beautiful with those jewel-like colors. And we've just had a cold snap that's going to end today but I have to be grateful that we didn't get our usual May Frost.
ReplyDeleteWell at least it didn't take you as long to finish your scarf as it did for me to finish my table runner. It's really pretty. I love the colors and it does match your coat beautifully.
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty scarf. It goes well with your new coat.
ReplyDeleteIt goes great with your coat. Those are happy colors! No cold snaps here, just our usual low 90s and humidity. I like your coat too :) I like that you get to buy a new fall coat because you have those wonderful 4 seasons!
ReplyDeleteYes your scarf absolutely compliments your new coat, and with this whacky weather, who knows if you still might get to wear it before the heat of summer hits!
ReplyDeleteI love the colors melting into one another in the scarf. It is truly beautiful. And as other furriends here said, it goes very well with your new coat. Mom here had to put a light fleece jacket on about 6 times in the past 2 weeks. Including today...The Day of the EARTHQUAKE! :-) Me, I got on our bed and I was in the middle where I wouldn't;t be rocked off if it got worse. Mom said we are on the New Madrid Fault.
ReplyDeleteCecilia, your scarf is beautiful. It is amazing how that yarn put out all those pretty colors. I am trying to finish the second of two afghans for the twins to take off to college with them. I just might make it before they leave in August.
ReplyDeleteThat really is very pretty, I'm impressed!
ReplyDeleteI love all the shades you used in this beautiful scarf. It will go well with any color! Very talented, HiC❣️
ReplyDeleteThat came out great. XO
ReplyDeleteBeautiful. I love the colors. It's rained all day long today and the temps are cool enough to wear it.
ReplyDeleteBeautifully done!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous!
