Dear Auntie HiC,
This map shows most of the US is experiencing above average temperatures.
🥵
We each have our own favorite spots for chilling during the oppressive heat!
I, Cali Porcelain Queen, fit purrfectly and I can keep the cool confined
Has it been unseasonably hot where you live? How do you stay cool?
❤️ Kat, Rocky & Cali
Dear Cali, Kat and Rocky this is how we stay cool
In the lazy, hazy, crazy hot daze of summer
Rainbow sherbet and Ginger ale floats make us H A P P Y
add a package of peanut butter crackers and you have LUNCH
ooh we take this fantabulous ice cream.... thats the best to beat the heat...
ReplyDeleteI love rainbow sherbet. I've been having to take showers and change clothes 3 or 4 times a day after going outside. I don't think I've ever sweated this much.

ReplyDeleteWell, kitties, I have to say that even the Bonny Land has been hit with it's version of a heatwave... nothing of the sort you have, but still a bit flattening when you're not used to it. Temps in the mid to high 20s centigrade (around 80 fahrenheit) and very little breeze to shift it. In The Grey, I just open the doors and windows wide, and use two little but mighty fans to shift the air through. Bliss! That's changed over the past few days, though. Now we have our equivalent of Monsoon! Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
All three of you sure know how to beat the heat. So far we've only had a few totally miserable days. It has been hot during the day but it's been cooling off nice at night. Forecast is calling for some scorchers coming up though
ReplyDeleteThis week is very hot and humid, just awful but last week was cool and wonderful. It is a roller coaster around here with the temps.
ReplyDeleteYou three have delightful ways to stay cool. It has been extremely hot up here, but we've had three days of coolness and it's been welcome. Starting tomorrow it goes back up. Precious has been able to go outside on her patio and need her pink rug to keep her paws warm. We also thought of something you three could do for Miss Kit, that would be an oriental foot massage on her back. We think with 12 little paws walking up and down her spine she would probably feel much better. No claws involved
ReplyDeleteI think you know how to beat the heat with the sherbet! Never added the peanut butter crackers... have to give it a try. Already off to a hot start.
