We love animal quotes....

Posted by PicasaCats regard people as warm-bloodied furniture...Jacquelyn Mitchard
A Dog wags its tail with its HEART....Martin Buxbaum

Mom recently read 'Who's Kitten Who? by Cynthia Baxter. She gives it *****
The main character, Jessica Popper, is a Veterinarian and amateur sleuth.
At the beginning of each chapter there is a quote about animals.
Mom loves them all and will periodically share them with you all.
The book Mom read before this one was 'Deception Point" by Dan Brown all 700+
pages it was excellent too but she said it required lots of concentration. 'Who's Kitten Who'
was sweet, funny and gave her brain a rest.

  1. Well I'm reading 'South of Broad' by Pat Conroy and no one has gotten murdered.....

    YET! :)

  2. We love the animal quotes and look forward to any you want to share. Blog Mom hasn't read a book since I started blogging. Isn't that awful? When she does read, she likes mysteries, too.

    wags, Lola

  3. the animal quotes...looking forward to reading more :)

  4. Madi,

Looking forward to more quotes from the book! My mom is a fan of Dan Brown, she is reading The Lost Symbol now but has not read Deception Point yet. :)

    Woofs and Licks,
    Maggie Mae

PeeS Mom and me luvs the new header!

  5. I'm reading some books by Roxanne Henke.
    Very good.
I just finished reading the Dick and Jane series.

  6. Gosh, look at all those pretty flowers. But that grey and white one is the Most Prettiest of them all!

    Wiggles & Wags,

  7. Pretty collage! We enjoy animal quotes too - especially humourous ones. We like the one about how dogs have more friends cos they wag their tails and not their tongues!
Happy whatever day it is this week and losing track of time.

  8. I love all quotes! They can make a person feel good! Or really think....

  9. I could use a big book of humorous quotes.

(I just finished Hothouse Orchid by Stuart Woods and moved on to Lowcountry Summer by Dorothea Benton Franks.)

  10. That cat quote is absolutely correct.

    Sounds like a great book.

  11. Lovely collage. Mama will look forward to the animal quotes. xxxxxxxxxxx

  12. We love animal quotes too! Oreo's favourite is "Dogs have masters. Cats have staff." And Jimmy's favourite is "Dogs rule. Cats DROOL!"

  13. Great collage! Madi--Did you do that? Thanks for the book review as well. Madi, has Mom read "Dewey"? I think she would like it.

  14. When our human was little she wrote this:

    "Cats is cats
    Dogs is dogs
    Mice is mice
    and Rats is Rats!

My brother said it was good and she always liked writing after that.

    Hector and Bonny

PS We are currently reading anything on whelping at the moment. xxx

  15. HI Madi
    We love animal quotes too!
    That was a good one.
Hey my Mom loves Dan Brown books too!

  16. We love animal quotes so we look forward to reading them. Our mom has only been doing light reading lately - she is to lazy for anything where she has to think. So 700+ pages would never happen at our house!

  17. Such beautiful pictures!! We are also looking forward to more quotes!!

    Smileys & Snuggles!
    Dory, Bilbo and Jacob

  18. Those are good quotes. We look forward to more. The flowers are pretty.

  23. Beautiful collage you gots there.
We loves animal quotes too and books. Yea, we do read from time to time...hehehehe. However, mum is usually too buzy to read cuz her spends most of her time keeping me outta trubles...go figure.

  24. Hi Madi & Mom,

We love quotes almost as much as beautiful flowers. The one Krista quoted is our favorite, "Dogs have masters. Cats have staff."

Your new header is beautiful and I really like the new name for your blog.

    Hugs & Purrs,
    Judy and Cindi Lou

  25. I was born and raised in Montgomery County, North Carolina. We have two dogs that we love. My husband and I have been on the road in our RV for 10 months. We are currently at our third campground host assignment - Morro Strand State Beach. We are focused right now on exploring Central Coast California and expect to be at Pfeiffer Big Sur State Park next. You're invited to stop by when you have a moment. I have two blogs - Levonne's Pretty Pics and A Camp Host Housewife's Meanderings.

Please leave a meow or bark for Madi...her assistant (aka Mom) will respond in a timely fashion. =^..^=
Life is short, spend it with those who make you laugh
