Today we are pawticipating in
McGuffy’s Reader’s Sparks blog hop
This hop is all about spreading cheer and positive vibes via quotes.
Mom and I will be pawticipating in this Monday fun spreading pet cheer and positive vibes.

WARNING do not adjust your glasses...this is for REAL
As you know, my peeps walk at Crabtree Valley Mall 5 days a week.
On July 26, 2018...they were astounded and befuddled when they saw
Christmas Decorations in a small area of the mall...

Exhibit 1

Then they saw the sign that read 151 days til Christmas.
So you know mom, she'll do anything for a post so we are about to offer you your very first
Sparks for Christmas 2018.  We think this Sparks speaks for itself.

and it appears the Mall intends to remind us exactly how many shopping days til
Christmas.

In the Great Down Under Parts, Christmas in July is the excuse for drinking mulled wine and eating heartily, it being winter at that time there... but I don't think I realised that it originated in the Carolinas!!! (according to the great paedia of the cloud...)

Much too early to be counting sleeps yet!!! Hugs and whiskeries, YAM-aunty xxx

  5. I like your Spark and yeah while the small section that is decorated for July is way too early I am good with it. Why not think happy thoughts of a time that we all seem to enjoy. My favorite holiday is Thanksgiving but as long as the Christmas decorations don't stay up until Christmas I'm just going to go with it... :) I worked with Hallmark so you are talking to someone who rolled out the ornaments in July!

  6. Mom has been watching Christmas movies on Hallmark Channel for the whole month. We love Christmas in July!

  7. Every year we get reminders of Christmas coming further and further away from actual Christmas! Retailers want to get everyone fired up to BUY now! We love Christmas but it's tough to think about when it's in the 90s....

    Hugs, Teddy and Mom too

  19. Ghostwriter says she thought it was back-to-school time at the stores and malls. But Christmas in July???? (Actually at the nursing home some of the little old ladies have been watching Christmas in July movies on the Hallmark channel. Ghostwriter just rolls her eyes. But the old ladies love it.)

When Mom worked in Victoria BC their office was right over a Christmas Shop. Mom says it was terrifically busy all summer long and to this day, Mom is NOT a fan of Christmas music...
