Flower Friday

with  Rosy SassyPants and Da Brudders

TOGM had to work a bit to get this Special Flower Friday post.
She had to drive, then park Gracie, then walk about a block
Would you like to take a virtual trip with Bigger than life Moi (after all it is my blog)? I'm sitting
on the  Mariner's Crossing entrance sign.  This a fitting place to be in prep for
National Lighthouse day August 7th.

Just to the right of this sign there is the most gorgeous star shaped planter with a beautimous flowers.
Here are some photos.  In order to get the entire star shape mom would have needed to cross a 6 lane road (with a stop light) but then she woulda been kinda far away so you get parts and pieces instead.

She happened to catch a red light snapped this from the car
Then she took a right turn parked about a block down in the Mariner's Crossing visitor's lot...

REMINDER

Guess what  August 7th, is National Lighthouse Day,

Rosy, Arty and Jakey's mama made this gorgeous badge.
Please feel free to copy it for your blog.

It was on this day in 1789, that Congress approved an Act for the establishment and support of lighthouse, beacons, buoys and public piers. In Celebration of the 200th Anniversary of the signing of the Act and the commissioning of the first Federal lighthouse, Congress passed a resolution which designated August 7, 1989 as National Lighthouse Day.  Read all about it here

  2. That planter is so pretty. And Madi, it is only right, is it not, that our humans have to do a bit of work in the service of our blogs? I mean, as you will see in my post today, Gail made huge sacrifices in taking photos for this Flower Friday...

  19. Madi, your Mom needs a drone like KB has so she could get an aerial view of that star-shaped flower bed. But what she got is just super duper, such beautiful flowers.

  20. Our Moms are similar! When they get the one track mind thing going ... LOOK OUT! Nothing will stand in their way! Though, sometimes at least, it provides entertainment for the rest of us! And that star flower bed IS pretty cool! ~Bear Cat
