We took a short trip to Cedar Creek Gallery on Wednesday January 16, 2019.
They are having a Cupful Exhibit (no worries there were many photos taken and will be shared)
Along the way I also snapped 71 photos and lots inside the gallery.
Here are 3 I enhanced
Just because they needed it.
As you can see it was a beautiful day...but My Mind's Eye saw this home
like this...enhancement with
Such a beautiful field and old barn....
it needed a horse....
During our December 2018 blizzard...this area received lots of snow and we
heard limbs were all over Highway 50.
.
Along this stretch of road a tree company was busy trimming limbs
that hung over the left side of the road.
Close up below.
I'm by no stretch of the imagination tree expert but it appears to me
this tree is more likely to fall completely in a storm or high wind. Too top heavy

This lonely giant pine was all alone on the mound
I thought it could use some majestic company
Pictures tomorrow from the exhibit
Oh ... so imaginative and creative! I love barn photos in particular, always have ... but what you did with that tall, singular tree: well, it's amazing, but also made me smile. It's wonderful to look at a photograph and see a whole new image evolve out of it ...
ReplyDeleteIt is fun to play with photos isn't it. These turned out great....love the setting for the house AND the poor pine that now has so much beauty around it!
ReplyDeleteHugs, Pam
We love your choice of enhancements, Miss Cecilia! They're very creative and we love your new blog look!
ReplyDeleteI am loving the last one, it is beautiful, the tree itself is amazing standing alone and tall and with the mountain behind it, becomes wow.... I love that barn all by itself and can't wait to see what you saw on your short trip... now tell me what program you used for the horse. love it
ReplyDeleteIt is so much fun to edit/play with pictures! It is addictive. Of course, I love the horse! Looking forward to your pictures from the exhibit. Road trips are fun... hope it included lunch!
ReplyDeleteThose are some really great pictures. Of course I like the one of the old barns and it did need a horse. The tree is really special too. Have a wonderful day.

Hazel is doing OK - the new medicine has helped quite a bit
The tall pine does look much happier with the company of some high cliffs and a waterfall. you do have a good mind's eye for such things.
